Rangers' recent results have reportedly convinced Nicolas Raskin to continue at least till the end of this season.
In just over a week, scepticism regarding Rangers' fate this season under new manager Derek McInnes has drastically shifted to optimism.
The Gers defeated their cross-town rivals Celtic in two back-to-back Old Firm clashes. First in the Scottish League Cup quarter-finals at Ibrox and then at Celtic Park to close the gap to just two points in the Scottish Premiership table.
McInnes' men extended their winning streak to six games in all competitions before going into the international break.
The Teddy Bears looked highly charged up during the back-to-back Glasgow derbies owing largely to the recent cohesive mood inside the dressing room.
Seemingly, the Gers' recent run of positive results has convinced midfielder Nicolas Raskin to re-evaluate his decision to depart Ibrox mid-season.
According to a recent report from Football Insider, Raskin is keen to stay at the club to help them towards the Scottish Premiership title this season.
As a result, the Belgian midfielder is reportedly keen to let go of his previous intentions to depart during the winter transfer window.
The club management is also seemingly on the same page with the 25-year-old, as they will look to cash in on their star midfielder next summer rather than letting him leave midway through the season.
Rangers FC Roundtable previously reported on Raskin's close call with Besiktas this summer, as a late inclusion in McInnes' matchday squad for Falkirk during the final hours of the summer transfer window delayed his departure for the time being.
Raskin has since featured in McInnes' starting lineup during each of the subsequent games, playing a crucial role in maintaining the perfect record following their double European upset early on in the season.
Despite the Gers completing over a dozen signings this summer, the 25-year-old remained in the headlines throughout most parts of the transfer window.
The Belgian international was linked with a number of English clubs alongside Besiktas this summer following a brilliant outing during the latest edition of the World Cup, where he provided two assists before being eliminated by the eventual champions of the tournament, Spain, in the quarter-finals.
Now as things stand, Raskin is seemingly happy to help his side end the trophy drought and add a Scottish Premiership medal to his collection before moving out next summer.
Rangers will also seemingly be happy to enjoy the services of Raskin at least for the remainder of this campaign, as Raskin's contract currently runs until the summer of 2028, giving them ample time next summer to negotiate a club-record incoming transfer fee.
