Manager Derek McInnes has now revealed why Nicolas Raskin will not take part in Rangers' game against FK Jablonec.
Rangers have already landed in Czechia for the second leg of their Conference League qualifier against FK Jablonec.
The Gers will start the return leg with a slender one-goal lead against the hosts tomorrow, thanks to Ryan Naderi's only goal in the first leg at Ibrox last week.
While centre-back Ben Godfrey has already recovered from his injury and travelled with the squad for the away game, two midfielders, Cammy Devlin and Nicolas Raskin, will miss the crucial game against the Czech side.
Devlin was shown a red card during the 78th minute of the game following a VAR intervention, whereas Raskin remained an unused sub during the first leg.
As for the second leg, the Belgian midfielder has now also been left out of the travelling squad, and manager Derek McInnes provided an update on the situation.
McInnes talked about Raskin's absence, saying (h/t Rangers Review), "Nico hasn't travelled; it's not due to injury but a potential transfer,
The manager also added, "With it being so late in the window, it's something the club is looking at."
It took some time for the Teddy Bears' manager to admit Raskin's uncertain future at the club, and now it could be only a matter of a few days before the World Cup midfielder makes his move this summer.
Raskin has attracted a number of interests from clubs all around Europe, and the Gers are seemingly ready to cash in on their star midfielder this summer.
However, the Glaswegian side will only let go of the 25-year-old for a transfer fee of around £25 million.
During the midfielder's three-and-a-half-year stay with Rangers so far, Raskin has already made 149 appearances, while scoring 13 goals and providing 23 assists.
Now, the Ibrox side will look to make a hefty profit from the transfer of the Belgian international, as there is strong interest in the midfielder following his brilliant World Cup performance.
Assessing Raskin's probable departure, the Light Blues have already added three new midfielders to their squad during this summer transfer window.
The Teddy Bears will now look to wrap up their activities with Raskin's departure and the signing of Kim Min-su as their 12th summer signing, who has reportedly already agreed on terms to join the Glaswegian side.
With deadline day approaching fast, the Gers are now looking to close the squad at least till the start of the winter transfer window.
