Olympiacos Advances in Talks to Sign Girona's Joel Roca

Olympiacos F.C. continues to work on finalizing the signing of Girona winger Joel Roca, according to reports.

According to Greek outlet Athletiko.gr, the Red and Whites have advanced significantly in negotiations with the Spanish club. According to the report, a week ago, the clubs were far from an economic agreement, but the gap has already been reduced considerably, and conversations are progressing well.

That said, it has been reported that Olympiacos still needs to slightly improve its offer to meet Girona's asking price.

Roca, 21, has a valid contract with his current club until 2029. The player does not want to stay in the second division, which favors the Greek club.
