Hull City are preparing a bid to hijack Olympiacos keeper Konstantinos Tzolakis from Aston Villa, Brighton, and Leeds United. The newly promoted side is looking to beat Premier League rivals in the race for the signing.
Hull City are entering the race to sign an Olympiacos goalkeeper who has also attracted interest from Aston Villa, Brighton & Hove Albion, Leeds United, Coventry City, and several other clubs.
According to Sport24.gr, 23-year-old goalie Konstantinos Tzolakis is attracting lots of interest, particularly in England but also across several of Europe’s top leagues.
According to the report, newly promoted Premier League side Hull City are preparing an offer for the Red and Whites, with the bid expected to be submitted during the final 10 days of July or at the beginning of August.
Meanwhile, Brighton & Hove Albion, Aston Villa, Leeds United and Coventry City continue to monitor the Greek goalkeeper’s situation closely.

The cited update also says that Tzolakis has been linked with several Italian clubs, including Juventus, Atalanta, Roma, Napoli, and Fiorentina. He has also attracted interest from Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen, as well as Turkish giants Fenerbahce and Galatasaray.
So, it is safe to say that Tzolakis is one of Olympiacos’ most sought-after players during this summer transfer window.
Always-reliable journalist Konstantinos Lianos went a step further, reporting that Hull City are currently leading the race for the goalkeeper’s signature, while Aston Villa will only submit an offer if Argentina international Emiliano Martinez leaves the club.
Lianos also reported that, should Tzolakis be sold, Olympiacos’ top priority would be to bring back Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper Jose Sa, who previously played for the Greek giants.
Journalist Dimitris Manakos confirmed Lianos’ report, reiterating that Sa is Thrylos’ first-choice replacement if Tzolakis departs, rather than Paraguay international Orlando Gill (as some recent reports had suggested).
Returning to the Sport24.gr report, the outlet states that the 23-year-old goalkeeper will only be sold if Olympiacos receive an offer exceeding €25 million.
That aligns with previous reporting from independent outlet Thrylos 7 International, which stated that the Red-and-Whites are seeking around €30 million for their academy graduate.
In recent hours, Argentine journalist Pablo Lafourcade reported that Olympiacos had submitted an offer to San Lorenzo for Orlando Gill. However, according to the latest reports, the priority for Jose Luis Mendilibar’s side is to sign Sa if Tzolakis leaves.
