Olympiacos vs. Atromitos: Team News

Olympiacos head coach Jose Luis Mendilibar announced on Friday the squad selected to face Atromitos in this first league match of the season. One new development is that Jota Silva appears again on the list of forwards, and normally in this section Olympiacos only lists players it considers for the striker position. Interestingly, Silva also appears on that same list on Olympiacos’ official website, so the Portuguese could be used in this position on more than one occasion. However, with the new signing of Armando González, questions remain.

As for Atromitos, Gazzetta.gr reports that the visiting team arrives for this match without any injury problems and with a full squad after finishing its preseason in Faliro. So, the scenario is ideal for a high-intensity match.
