Olympiacos head into this fixture on the back of a 2-1 victory in UEFA Europa League matchday 1 over Polish top-flight side Jagiellonia Bialystok. New signing Marius from Turkish side Samunspor was added to the list for the first time since joining the club, alongside Gonzalez, Yaremchuk, Jota Silva, and Clayton Silva in the attacking department. Five men in the forward list eliminate midfielders Leon Bailey and Dani Garcia.
Lorenzo Scipioni found himself back on the list after being excluded from the European one. Mexican international Gonzalez is expected to lead the attacking lines for Olympiacos as he has already deputised well for the long-term injured Ayoub El Kaabi. Alguacil has also put his entire faith in him for his latest project, and Marius' arrival was just an insurance policy for the club in their quest for Europa League silverware, in addition to being a response to El Kaabi's season-ending knock.
Gustavo Sa was left out from the squad as he is nursing an injury. Joel Roca returns after recovering from a dislocated shoulder suffered in the Super League Greece match against Volos.
