Orbelin Pineda praised Armando 'Hormiga' Gonzalez and said he hopes that he will succeed in Greece while playing for Olympiacos.
Armando Gonzalez's arrival at Olympiacos has stirred up Mexico. In fact, before El Tri's training session, former AEK Athens player Orbelin Pineda was asked about the Mexican forward for the Red-and-White side.
"It's great that another Mexican is going to another country. Let's hope he succeeds and can shine. We know his abilities, and he can score many goals and break records. The most important thing is to wish him the best; he's already doing very well," he said.
In fact, he revealed that Hormiga asked him for advice about life in Greece and about Olympiacos.
In other news, Olympiacos announced that tickets are now available for the derby against Panathinaikos at Georgios Karaiskakis.
Olympiacos faces Panathinaikos on Sunday (11/10) at Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium for the 6th matchday of the Stoiximan Super League. A few days before the match, the Red-and-White club announced that tickets were available.

Gov.gr Wallet
Entry to the stadium is ONLY possible using the Gov.gr Wallet application.
By purchasing ticket codes, you will be sent an email containing a QR code/code per ticket, for entering into the Gov.gr Wallet.
For children under 15 years of age who do not have personal TaxisNet codes, the guardian enters their own Gov.gr Wallet by first adding their own code/ticket and then the child's. For other cases, refer to https://tickets.gov.gr/ or click here.
For foreigners who do not have personal TaxisNet codes and have a foreign passport, they normally purchase the code/ticket from our platform using the Gov.gr Wallet application, select the Non Greek Resident field and in the next identification step they scan the code/ticket and then scan their passport with NFC. The event tickets option on the home page of the Gov.gr Wallet application is only for foreigners.
In case foreigners are unable to complete the identification process, they can visit the ticket offices (Karaiskaki Stadium – Gate 25) on the day of the match between 16:30 and 19:30.
Strictly speaking, only fans who have purchased tickets from the official ticket sales channels of Olympiacos FC www.olympiacos.org and www.more.com will be served and tickets from any other platform will not be accepted.

Season ticket transfer
Season ticket holders, and only they, will be able to transfer their ticket and the acceptance of the request must be completed by the start of the match. For transfer instructions, click here.
It is clarified that due to limitations of the State application Gov.Gr Wallet:
* Personalized season tickets such as children's tickets are not transferable.
* Personalized season tickets from foreigners cannot be transferred.
* Adult season tickets cannot be transferred to a minor.
* Season ticket holders with a personalized season ticket cannot personalize another ticket, even if they have transferred it to another fan.
For the above, we are awaiting information on when they will be corrected by the State application Gov.GR Wallet.
It is noted that Olympiacos FC bears no responsibility for any malfunctions or limitations of the Gov.Gr Wallet State application during the transfer of season tickets.
Individual match tickets are not transferable.
Olympiacos Amateur Fan Card
Olympiacos FC informs fans that the main requirement for purchasing a ticket is to be in possession of the 20 euro Olympiacos fan collector card or the 15 euro Olympiacos fan card for the 2026/27 season, an amount that will go entirely to the Amateur Fund, so that our teams can continue to compete in all sports.
