Remo Freuler has earned Imanol Alguacil's trust at Olympiacos, scoring two goals and adding two assists in his first starts. He also recorded a 99% pass success rate for Switzerland.

It's amazing what Olympiacos' recent signing, Remo Freuler, does on the pitch. And even though his ID says he's 34, don't be fooled. The guy is as fresh as a 25-year-old midfielder.

We've known for years what he can do with the ball at his feet, given his top-level career and achievements with the Swiss national team.

We saw it quickly in the Red and Whites' first full appearances. Two assists, two goals in matches that gave 6 points, and a successful pass percentage close to 95%, especially in the last third of the field. We are talking about robot numbers.

The same was true for his national team, which picked up a couple of comfortable wins, including a goal against North Macedonia. He was also key in the midfield duo in the victory over Scotland.

Remo Freuler recorded an amazing, unprecedented 99% pass success rate, making only one incorrect pass in 90 minutes, plus the delays he played! He had 83 passes, and 82 of them found a teammate. He also had 100% success in the opponent's half of the field.

We're talking about 56/56 passes, and he had 26/27 (96%) in the first half. He recorded one long ball, 1/2 crosses, and two key passes, along with 89 actions with the ball, 1 tackle, two recoveries, and 2/7 duels.

Freuler has already earned Imanol Alguacil's trust, as he's been a starter since the Basque coach arrived. The former Real Sociedad manager knows the Swissman is an elite piece in his strategy.

Gustavo Sa Speaks About Olympiacos Move After Famalicao Spell

In other news, Olympiacos midfielder Gustavo Sa reflected on his record-breaking tenure at Famalicao and explained why Portuguese soccer's tactical quality remains a step ahead of the Greek Super League.

In an interview on the show "Sem Filtros" on Sport24.gr, Sa began talking about his relationship with Portuguese side Famalicão, which helped him launch his career in Europe.

He said, "Famalicao is like my home. It was the club that welcomed me from the age of 13 to 21. I was captain in some youth categories, but also in the first team. I will be eternally grateful for everything they did for me, especially to President Miguel Ribeiro."

He added, "I believe that Greek football has potential. I believe that Portuguese football is distinguished by the quality of the game, so comparing the two championships is impossible."
