Olympiacos has submitted a €6M bid for Ludogorets midfielder Petar Stanic. The 24-year-old is also wanted by AC Milan, Real Betis, Sevilla and Atalanta.
As per a recent update by Kostas Nikolakopoulos, Olympiacos have made contact with the club of Serbian midfielder Petar Stanic, Bulgarian side Ludogorets Razgrad, in a bid to secure the services of the player. This move by Olympiacos is being seen as an attempt by the Greek side to bolster their squad on all fronts, and signing a midfielder is definitely a primary agenda for Thrylos.
As per information received from Bulgarian media, Olympiacos have submitted a bid of €6 million for the Serbian player, and the club has already sent its representative to Bulgaria to engage in discussions with Ludogorets over the potential move of Petar Stanic.
However, it is to be noted that the Bulgarian club have also submitted an offer of their own in relation to the move of the 24- year-old. If reports are to be believed, Ludogorets value their young midfielder at around €10 million. The ask seems quite reasonable, given the excellent season that the midfielder had for them, tying for the Golden Boot of the 2025-26 Europa League with Nottingham Forest striker Igor Jesus, scoring 7 goals in the tournament.
Stanic also scored 9 goals in 34 games for Ludogorets in the First Professional Football League, and given his young age, the player seems to have a bright future. It is also noteworthy that the midfielder has also won silverware in his young career, including the Serbian SuperLiga and the Serbian Cup with Red Star Belgrade, and the Bulgarian Supercup with Ludogorets.
Given his achievements at this young an age, it is no wonder that several clubs are in contention to secure his signature for their team. According to recent reports by media outlets like TransferFeed and Gol Digital, several clubs, including the likes of La Liga sides Real Betis, Sevilla, Serie A outfits AC Milan and Atalanta, Swiss side FC Basel, and Eredivisie side AZ Alkmaar, are all interested in securing the services of Petar Stanic.
However, Petar Stanic may also end up making no move at all, given that he signed for the Bulgarian club in the summer transfer window of the previous season and is currently under a three-year contract with the club that runs until June 30, 2028.
It remains to be seen which club finally manages to secure the services of Stanic; whether he makes a move or ends up staying at Ludogorets will be an interesting affair to watch.
