Olympiacos have launched a loan bid for Belgian prodigy Jesse Bisiwu, offering the winger a platform for development while Hansi Flick weighs his crowded Barcelona rotation.

According to a report by Gazzetta.gr, Olympiacos have made a loan offer to Barcelona to acquire the services of Jesse Bisiwu ahead of the new season.

Spanish media confirmed the reports of Barcelona receiving an offer from the Greek giants for their recently signed player. Bisiwu joined the Blaugrana ranks last month on an €8.5 million deal from Club Brugge.

Russian top-flight side Krasnodar is expected to make a strong comeback in negotiations with the Red and Whites for winger Gelson Martins, and this possibility has opened up a new requirement for the Piraeus club. Noted for his dribbling ability on the wings, Bisiwu could immediately fit into head coach Jose Luis Mendilibar's plans for the upcoming campaign while providing the teenage sensation with a stellar opportunity to get regular game time.

Barcelona are yet to make a decision on the player's future, as he impressed during the pre-season friendlies; however, the Catalan giants understand that manager Hansi Flick will have a tough time giving him the requisite chances on the pitch for his long-term development.

As a 15-year-old, he played in the Challenger Pro League, scoring top-notch goals and changing game results quite a few times from a deficit.

More news regarding Bisiwu's potential loan transfer to Olympiacos are predicted to come in the next few days, and we will keep updating this space with the latest news.

Elsewhere, Thrylos have reached an agreement in principle for the signing of Cristian Casseres Jr. from Ligue 1 outfit Toulouse, as per an earlier report on Roundtable. The midfielder was one of Mendilibar's summer targets for his engine room alongside Real Racing Club midfielder Gustavo Puerta. The Greeks are set to pay in the region of €10 million plus bonuses to Les Violets to bring the Venezuelan international to the club.

It remains to be seen what happens with the deals of Puerta and Daniel Braganca from Portuguese side Sporting CP, as this latest addition could put an end to one of the two open deals.
