Aliyah Boston got paid by the Indiana Fever.

Aliyah Boston has agreed to a four-year, $6.3 million contract extension with the Indiana Fever, giving her the richest total salary in league history to date, per ESPN

Boston was eligible for the contract extension through a new provision in the league's recently ratified collective bargaining agreement.

With Boston previously earning an All-WNBA selection, she effectively replaced what she was set to earn in 2026 with an accelerated path to earning the max.

One of the best players in the WNBA, Boston will earn $1 million in 2026, lower than the standard $1.19 million max deal she was eligible for. She chose to take less money to help the Fever pay others on their roster.

Boston will earn 20% of the cap in each subsequent season through 2029. She averaged 15.0 points and 8.2 rebounds per game for the Fever last season while shooting 53.8% from the field and 76.2% from the free-throw line.

Boston was the first pick in the 2023 Draft. The South Carolina product won the 2023 Rookie of the Year Award and has made three All-Star teams.

The 24-year-old Boston has career averages of 14.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game with the Fever, who will be title contenders next season since Caitlin Clark will be back in the lineup alongside Boston and Kelsey Mitchell.
