Arike Ogunbowale scored 22 and Paige Bueckers added 20 as the Dallas Wings beat the Indiana Fever 107-104 on Saturday in the season opener for both teams.

INDIANAPOLIS — Arike Ogunbowale scored 22 points and Paige Bueckers added 20 as the Dallas Wings opened the 2026 season with a 107-104 win over the Indiana Fever on Saturday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Odyssey Sims also scored 20 points. Jessica Shepard finished with 13 points, 9 rebounds, and 9 assists in her Wings debut. Aziaha James added 10 points off the bench on 3-of-3 shooting from 3-point range.

The Wings shot 59.1% from the field and 12-of-23 from 3-point range.

Kelsey Mitchell led Indiana with 30 points, Aliyah Boston added 23, and Caitlin Clark finished with 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 7 assists. Mitchell missed a potential tying jumper at the buzzer. Clark missed a 3-pointer with about 7 seconds left that would have tied the game.

Ogunbowale shot 8-of-15 from the field, 3-of-7 from 3-point range, and 3-of-3 from the free-throw line in 28 minutes. She added 1 rebound and 5 assists.

Bueckers shot 8-of-10 from the field, 1-of-3 from 3-point range, and 3-of-6 from the free-throw line. She added 3 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1 steal in 32 minutes.

Bueckers missed 2 free throws in the closing seconds, opening the door for Mitchell's missed jumper at the buzzer.

Sims shot 8-of-11 from the field, 2-of-3 from 3-point range, and 2-of-3 from the free-throw line in 26 minutes. She added 2 rebounds and 2 assists.

Shepard finished 5-of-8 from the field and 3-of-5 from the free-throw line. She added 9 rebounds, 9 assists, and 2 steals in 32 minutes.

With 9:09 remaining in the fourth quarter, James was fouled on a made 3-pointer and converted the and-one to give Dallas an 84-82 lead. The Wings never trailed again.

James went 3-of-3 from 3-point range and 1-of-1 from the free-throw line in 16 minutes off the bench.

Azzi Fudd, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft, finished with 3 points, 1 rebound, and 1 steal in 17 minutes. She went 1-of-2 from the field and 1-of-2 from 3-point range.

Mitchell shot 11-of-22 from the field and 2-of-9 from 3-point range. She added 3 rebounds and 4 assists.

Boston shot 9-of-14 from the field and 4-of-6 from the free-throw line, adding 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, and 1 block.

Clark shot 7-of-18 from the field, 2-of-9 from 3-point range, and 4-of-4 from the free-throw line. She committed 5 turnovers.

Makayla Timpson added 11 points and 2 rebounds on 5-of-6 shooting off the bench.

Indiana shot 51.9% from the field and 7-of-24 from 3-point range.

Dallas hosts the Atlanta Dream on Tuesday. Indiana visits the Los Angeles Sparks on Wednesday.
