Caitlin Clark called out a reporter over an Angel Reese question.

After Team USA won the 2026 women's basketball World Cup, Caitlin Clark got upset at a reporter over an Angel Reese question.

Some reporter asked Clark if she was friends with Reese now, and the Indiana Fever star got upset.

During the 2023 NCAA title game, Reese taunted Clark after LSU won the championship against Iowa.

Ever since then, Clark fans and Reese fans have had a heated rivalry on social media.

However, Clark and Reese have no beef.

"No matter what, there's always going to be people that create those narratives and say whatever they want to say," Clark said on 9/10, via ESPN. "There's definitely no stopping that and they're always going to be there. I think for ourselves, like I said, it's easy for us to just come in here and compete."

"We can kind of rely on each other, lean on each other," Reese said. "This is our first big national event, so being able to play with each other, learn each other and go through these learning process together, it's fun."

When the 2026 WNBA season begins, if the Fever face the Atlanta Dream in the playoffs, don't be surprised if Reese and Clark get into it. After all, both are fierce competitors.

But in Berlin, Clark and Reese played well together and helped Team USA win another FIBA World Cup.

Team USA beat France, 97-79, to win its fifth consecutive World Cup title and 12th overall. Trailing 45-43 at halftime, the Americans took control in the third quarter, outscoring France 30-12. That dominance decided the game and the gold medal.

For the Fever this season, Clark is averaging 22.5 points and 8.4 assists per game while shooting 45.6% from the field, 37.3% from beyond the arc and 83.3% from the free-throw line. She has 13 double-doubles and one triple-double.

Meanwhile, for the Dream, Reese is averaging 16.1 points and 12.4 rebounds per game while shooting 43.7% from the floor, 18.0% from 3 and 73.4% from the foul line. She has a league-leading 29 double-doubles.

The Fever are and Dream are 26-14. We could very well see Reese vs. Clark in the 2026 WNBA playoffs.
