The Chicago Sky have been very busy this offseason.

The Chicago Sky signed Azura Stevens and Skylar Diggins on Saturday.

This comes after the Sky traded Angel Reese to the Atlanta Dream.

“I’m truly excited to be coming home to join the Chicago Sky,” Stevens said. “This city means everything to me. The culture, the people, the passion for the game. To have the opportunity to come back to Chicago is amazing. I’m ready to get to work, embrace the moment, and give everything I have. Let’s work.”

“We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to bring back Azurá, a pivotal part of our championship team,” Sky General Manager Jeff Pagliocca said. “Stevens brings a versatile element to our frontcourt as a shooter and shot blocker that we’re confident will pair nicely with the players we have under contract.”

Stevens helped Chicago win the 2021 championship. She spent the last three seasons with the Los Angeles Sparks.

In 220 career games with the Dallas Wings, Sky and Sparks, Stevens has career averages of 10.1 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game.

Diggins hasn't won a championship like Stevens, but she's one of the best players in WNBA history. The seven-time All-Star has made six All-WNBA teams.

“Skylar is a player we have coveted for years. We are ecstatic to bring her to Chicago,” General Manager Jeff Pagliocca said. “She is one of the all-time elite passers in our game and continues to play at a high level on both sides of the ball.”

“Diggins is the kind of player who elevates everyone around her,” Head Coach Tyler Marsh said. “Skylar is a true veteran leader, and she possesses unmatched speed and shot creation potential. I can’t wait to work with her.”

Diggins has career averages of 16.4 points, 2.9 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game. She's played for the Shock/Wings, Phoenix Mercury and Seattle Storm.

The Sky went 10-34 last season. They should win more games in 2026 with Diggins and Stevens in the fold.
