DiJonai Carrington made a request after signing with the Chicago Sky.

DiJonai Carrington is signing a one-year deal with the Chicago Sky. The 2024 Most Improved Player of the Year played for the Dallas Wings and Minnesota Lynx last season.

After signing with the Sky, Carrington made a request on social media.

Carrington is one of the most popular players in the WNBA, so she shouldn't have any issues finding a Chicago jersey swap on social media.

For the Wings and Lynx last season, Carrington averaged 9.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.4 blocks per game while shooting 38.6% from the field, 31.9% from beyond the arc and 80.5% from the free-throw line.

The 28-year-old Carrington has been in the WNBA since 2021. She has played for the Connecticut Sun, Wings and Lynx and has career averages of 8.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.2 blocks per game.

"We're thrilled to bring DiJonai to the Sky," general manager Jeff Pagliocca said in a statement. "She brings speed, defense, versatility and a fierce competitive spirit, and we can't wait to see her electrify Skytown."

The Sky went 10-34 last season. They traded Angel Reese to the Atlanta Dream, traded Ariel Atkins to the Los Angeles Sparks for Rickea Jackson and signed Skylar Diggins this offseason.
