Dallas Mavericks guard Klay Thompson's dad, two-time NBA champion Mychal Thompson, says the Indiana Fever are done with Caitlin Clark.

Mychal covers the Los Angeles Lakers on the radio. He's also around the Los Angeles Sparks a lot, so it's possible he has sources in the WNBA.
A lot is going on with the Fever right now. Sophie Cunningham told local reporters that the Fever had a team meeting on Monday. The team meeting took place after Clark and head coach Stephanie White got into a heated sideline exchange during the Portland Fire game over the weekend.
As expected, the interaction between Clark and White blew up on social media and many people speculated that Clark and White don't have a positive relationship.
However, Clark and White told reporters that they have each other's backs and are just two competitive people.
"A lot of those things happen all the time and I know there's a camera on me and that's how it's going to be," Clark said. "But there's a lot of people out there in the media or on TV that they think they know a lot of things and they're just blatantly wrong about a lot of things."
Added White: "I think what happened in that moment is I was challenging a player. It's coaching. It's what it is. And I don't often think it becomes an issue if you're watching it in men's sports most of the time. We're both competitive, we're both stubborn. We're more alike than different and hopefully we continue to bring the best out of each other."
Clark and the Fever will look to get back in the win column on Thursday against Angel Reese and the Atlanta Dream. That game will likely be heavily watched since Clark and Reese are rivals.
Clark is averaging 20.1 points, 4.0 rebounds and 8.1 assists per game on the season while shooting 39.3% from the field, 33.3% from 3 and 95.1% from the free-throw line. The two-time All-Star is struggling to find her jump shot. She's always been poor on defense.
In the last four games, Clark has defended 34 isolations, the most by any player over a four-game span in the past three seasons, according to GeniusIQ. The Fever are first in the league in points per game but second-to-last in points per game allowed.
Offense isn't the issue right now for the Fever. They need to figure out how to stop people.
Otherwise, it could be a long, long season for Clark and Indiana.
