Sonia Citron scored 30 as the Washington Mystics survived 21 turnovers to beat the Indiana Fever 104-102 in OT. Caitlin Clark had 32 in the loss.

The Washington Mystics turned the ball over 21 times and won anyway. Sonia Citron scored 30 points to carry them past the Indiana Fever 104-102 in overtime at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Friday.

Kiki Iriafen posted a double-double with 25 points and 13 rebounds. Shakira Austin added 19 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 blocks. Cotie McMahon scored 13. Georgia Amoore chipped in 7 points and 4 assists.

Citron shot 10-of-14 from the field and made 9 of her 10 free throws. She also collected 6 rebounds and 4 assists in nearly 38 minutes. No other player got to the foul line more than six times.

The Mystics shot 55.9% from the field and scored 58 points in the paint. Washington improved to 2-1.

Washington made 22 of its 28 free throws. Indiana attempted just 19 and made 13.

Caitlin Clark led the Fever with 32 points and 8 assists but needed 28 shots to get there. She went 7-of-17 from three. Kelsey Mitchell added 24 points but made only 10 of her 25 shots. Monique Billings posted 10 points and 9 rebounds.

Clark and Mitchell combined for 56 of Indiana's 102 points. The Fever made 17 of their 42 three-point attempts but shot just 39.1% from the field. Indiana fell to 1-2.

Indiana looked like the better team for one quarter. The Fever scored 28 points in the first and led by as many as 13. Then their offense fell apart. They managed 9 points in the entire second quarter. Washington led 41-37 at the break. The Mystics carried a 67-58 lead into the fourth before Indiana's 31-point quarter pulled it even at 89. Washington won the overtime 15-13.

Indiana hit the offensive glass hard. The Fever grabbed 11 offensive rebounds to Washington's 8 and scored 20 second-chance points, nine more than the Mystics. They picked Washington's pocket 13 times and added 27 points off the Mystics' 21 turnovers. The Fever lost by two.

Aliyah Boston scored 9 points and grabbed 4 rebounds for Indiana. Sophie Cunningham added 7 points. Lexie Hull had 9 points and 3 steals off the bench. Myisha Hines-Allen contributed 6 points and 5 assists.

Washington played without Michaela Onyenwere (left knee), Florez Getino, and Littlepage-Buggs.

The Fever were without Hall and Pissott.
