A sacrilegious rendition of Canon in D?
Aug 8, 2022 5:26 AM
Canon in D is a classical piece that is sometimes called "A cellist nightmare"
The Cello player slowly repeats the same 8 notes again and again in the song.
Some parodies of the song show the cellist falling asleep or doing other things while playing Canon in D because he is so bored.
Combined the Cello with parts for violin, the piece is a well loved song for β€οΈ or wedding scenes.
π¦ thought that the early part of the video below sounds terrible with a metallic ring. A metal ruler was deliberately left on the piano.
The pianist that speeded up her playing until the song is not recognizable.
A classical purist will consider the playing sacrilegious while those who like jazz will enjoy it.
