DR Congo Colonels get death penalty for murder of Chinese workers

There are six people including two army colonels that were sentenced to death as four others were given ten years in jail in relation to the killings of the two Chinese mine workers. These killings happened in the Congo Republic. The fact that these persons who allegedly did the killings are military people and they are sentenced to death is surprising. I am wondering if this had happened in a Chinese country and these men had done this, I wonder if the Chinese court would have put those men to death. If these men did a wrong thing I do agree that they should pay for their crime but it should alotted in every country no matter who the person or persons are. Commiting crimes is never a good thing and it is going on too much in the world today.
