❄️ Updated Look To Frozen Accounts‼️

❄️ Frozen Accounts‼️ Lately BBS has been making some updates to the look of the platform, before the official app is released. All the upgrades look great, the project is looking better & better each day. I noticed there has been an update to frozen accounts. I’m not sure how  new this feature is but as a community owner this feature looks great. Now when you click on an account that has been frozen, the whole account is red to let you know that the account is frozen & no matter what community you click on that this user has joined it will be the same. BBS is taking extra precautions to crackdown on the fraud on the platform! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽Aug 30, 2022

🔧 4.0.2 Changes So Far‼️

🔧 Version 4.0.2  As we all know yesterday BBS put out preview of how the new post promotions will work. However they decided to drop it early. I also noticed a few other changes made to the platform as well. There is still no new pinned post about the release but Eyal confirmed.  Promoting Your Post 💰 So now you can be the first to promote you own post from within the post before you even post it. And you are predicting how many views a post will get. And publishers of the post will get reputation from the post whether they own it or not. Promoting Another Members Post 🤝 You predict how many views a post will get and stake your reputation. As the promoter you get paid 1 reputation point for each view the post gets. The publisher get reputation whether they own the post or not. Once you set the amount of views a post will get, it will let you know how much reputation you need to stake.  Reputation 🔢 Reputation is now rounded up into whole numbers to reflect points instead of money.  Stakeholders Section 👩🏽‍🤝‍👨🏻 For the first time on BBS the stakeholders section in the communities have finally been fixed to reflect the right amount of members a community has. Before the stakeholders section was always higher because the people who left the community or were banned from the community still held money in the community so they were still counted as members. Jul 20, 2022

Top Boards 🏅 For the first time in BBS history, the BBS team has updated the Top Boards page. This page reflects the top actively funded pages on BBS. So now when you log into BBS, you will see a updated version of the top boards on BBS.  The Top Boards Are:  There will be some new boards selected for funded very soon. Therefore members will have much more of a variety of topics to choose from.  In the meantime check out METV. A community that brings BBS members from around the world closer together by discussing things they’ve watched on TV. METV hit 1,000 members this week, therefore METV is currently running it’s biggest competition yet. ⚙️ What Is The Great Reset⁉️

The Great Reset 4.0.0 The great reset is a new update that will take place in one week. The purpose of this update is to filter out all the non relevant post to each board, as well as all the people who are only here for the money. We have to remember that BBS Network is a seed funded project that is still in the Beta version. If everyone is just here for the money, the network won’t succeed.  Whitelisting All members will lose their whitelist as the whole BBS will be reset. And the request button will be taken away. Now the admins have to invite you to be whitelisted. They will only invite the members who have a good reputation & contribute to the community with good content & engagement. We will now get reputation post instead of CC.This will stop all the non relevant post such as:  And Comments Such As The top comments will be rewarded, so this encourages members to actually read the post & give your opinion. 📌 New Pinned Post Feature‼️ For the first time BBS has made an new update to pin more than one post. This is a great addition to the Bulletin Board System. Now when you come into the BBS Network community all the important updates will be pinned. Therefore everyone will be informed of what’s currently going on & any changes. This feature has also been added to all other communities. New BBS Update Coming‼️

⚙️ 2 New Features So far I have noticed two new features have been added to BBS. Which are:  Report A Post or Community You now have the option to report a community or particular post for the options below: This option is great because it allows the members help clean up the communities from shit post & post that violate the community guidelines. To report a post hit the three dots on the post & hit repost. And to report a community at the top of the page, next to discover more hit the three dots & hit report. Community Reports Tab So far the new tab for community owners gives you the option to see reports on users or post. 💰 How To Fund A Small Community‼️

If a community is not approved for permanent funding. Their CPM is set really low at 5, instead of 150. However anyone is able to fund a small community by following the steps below 👇🏽  First you want to go to the community you want to fund, select your wallet & click buy. Next you have to enter the amount of tokens you would like to use & this will show you how CC you will receive but you will also receive Cashable.  Then go to your profile, hit revenue & scroll down to advertising. Then hit Restart or Run Ad. Then select how much money you would like to put into ads & what you want the CPM to be.  Now your CPM is set at whatever it was set at, as long as there’s not a higher bidder. If so your ad will run when their budget runs out.May 12, 2022

When Should A Community Apply For Engagment Mining⁉️

What is Engagement Mining⁉️ Engagement Mining is when a community is approved the Admins of BBS to be a “Active” community who receives permanent funding as long as they continue to meet the requirements. What Are The Requirements⁉️ When Should A Community Apply⁉️ In my opinion from my experience being the first community (META ENGAGERS) to get picked for Growth Seeding & Engagement Mining. I wouldn’t apply until your community is making at least 100 post a day on its own. And most the post are not copy & paste and the topic is related to your community. Also until the engagement is organic & not forced. What Is Growth Seeding⁉️

Growth Seeding Growth Seeding is a program that supports small communities that aren’t approved for Engagement Mining. It gives them a $1000 ad budget that sets their CPM at 150 instead of 5 until the money runs out. This allows the communities to get higher engagement levels. In the end some communities may qualify to apply for Engagement Mining to get a permanent 150 CPM. As long as the continue to meet the requirements.  How does Growth Seeding Work? METABBS automatically deposits $1000 into the communities ad budget. This budget runs nonstop until it runs out. So the more traffic the community get the quicker the money runs out.  How are communities selected? Communities are selected from the top 60 boards on the BBS Reward page. With the highest based on the highest metrics. Communities cannot already be approved for Engagement Mining. And if a community was selected in a previous wave of Growth Seeding they must skip a wave before being selected again for a new wave.May 11, 2022

Last Sunday on the “Weekly Chat” we asked Eyal to make the links on the BBS Rewards page clickable. He sent it over to the developers right away. Now you can now go to the rewards page & explore other communities by clicking on the name of the community.  So now when you click on any community it will take you directly to that community. Also if you click the circle with the “ i “ inside of it, it will give you a preview of the communities about section.  Join the weekly chat every Sunday, most times Eyal joins and you are able to ask him questions & give suggestions. BBS recently added badges to the new 3.3.1 update. In my opinion I like the badges because now we can tell how are the admins & moderators of each community. This is good because if you have any issues, questions or concerns you know who to contact. It’s also good for new comers. Who have questions because they can see who is whitelisted. 🤝 Transfer Ownership Feature‼️

Recently I took a mini 2 day vacation. But a BBS community doesn’t sleep. So I decided to try out the transfer ownership feature with my Lead Moderator. It was a great experience, even though I felt the need to check in on my community every so often 🤣 Here’s how it works:  They will then receive all the benefits of being an admin & you will return as a regular member. I just had my team add me back as an moderator.  They also now have the ability to pin post & they will receive the daily 20% payout as well. May 4, 2022
