BBS journey - My last post*
Recent changes and being kicked out of the whitelist made me rethink if it's worth continuing. I was someone who tried creating quality posts - 2-3 a week and actively trading posts, interacting with other members. Here are my total stats after being here for about 7 months: I made about 514.96$ worth of BBS tokens for creating posts on the platform (roughly 73.5$ a month) *This does not include rewards like post of the week/ competitions etc. which was over 5000BBS tokens (about 100$ at current price). Here's the list of trapped funds which I probably will never withdraw from the platform. 2 biggest traps were Theory and LUNATKS boards which I applied to be whitelisted many months ago and never got it, only promises that mods are "very busy" reviewing. Total trapped funds - 106.69$ After "Great reset" being announced and no guarantees of being whitelisted again I started to question fundamentals of BBS. Can it really be called decentralised network? In my case Theory and LUNATKS examples clearly show how mods have total control over your existence on the board. That was not a great experience. Final thoughts: After creating many good posts and wining rewards and competitions I think I have proven to be worthy being on the Whitelist and do not see the point of proving myself again. Unless I will be re-invited back this is my last post. P.s. no hard feelings! Have a great day everyone!

The Real Test of BBS
We have entered a phase of the real test of BBS network.150$ CPM boost has ended and it is back to 50$ As someone who lived through 50$ and less in the past I see many new users who recently joined leaving or posting significantly less. Another concern is BBS not telling anything about new features or upcoming updates in the pinned post. Bear market is the time to build and stick to the road map as it is crucial for the future of the network. If BBS will start delaying updates or go silent for extended periods of times users will do the same and start leaving. I really hope BBS will manage to keep users base and find new ways to increase it alongside the activity on the platform. We are in the beginning of crypto winter and this will effect the space significantly! Get your coats and gloves ready as it will get cold. ↓↓↓ This can be the end of another BBS user life cycle! ↓↓↓

Post Of The Week
Looks like I finally got it! Since BBS introduced weekly top post rewards I thought that it's a very nice opportunity! I like to make posts which bring value to the community. It was very discouraging for some time because such posts take hours to make, but they perform on the same level as "good morning" posts, because of the large amount of posts on the board.Weekly top post reward is a very nice incentive to keep making these posts! What Happens to Funds in Banned accounts?
Everyone noticed bunch on users getting banned for fraudulent activities. What will happen to the cashable and funds they have made? Is it going back to community funds? Or will it be used for rewards? Or will it stay untouched and frozen?Many questions regarding this, would be interested to know your thoughts!

That Time Of Market Cycle
It's about time BBS release an app which we all have been waiting for, but will they? In such tough market conditions projects often delay updates, because they want to do it in a "hot market". Here are two scenarios I see:1. BBS stick to the plan and release an app, but because of week market it will not have long term effect on token price;2. Your post can earn 0 now
I had no idea this was possible, but it is. "Impression Timer" has started to work and your post can earn 0 from now. Here's what happened to me while I made a post on VILLA board. Post was purchased few times, received 4 likes and couple comments YET it earned 0, NOTHING. Maybe people who commented did not spend enough time on the post, but yeah "Impression Timer" can and will effect your earnings! I think this new feature needs adjusting. Have you noticed anything similar? ↓↓↓ Do you know how to swim? ↓↓↓

Test of "The Time Limiter"
Just made a test of "The Time Limiter" and here are the results: My post received 9 👍 and 14 comments (other are my replies) and the post received a total of 10 impressions. It's nice to see CMP boosted to 185$ as it does not happen too often. Conclusion: it seems like new "The Time Limiter" function has little to no impact on post performance. Although at first I thought it will definitely have! Maybe this was implemented for people who are trying to trick the system and impression farm by quickly opening and closing posts from different accounts. Or is there other reason? Any thoughts? ↓↓↓ Are you HODLING BBS tokens? You should and here's why ↓↓↓

Thoughts on "Impression Timer"
Yet again some nice technical updates in Version 3.3.4! This part has caught my eye: '' Starting with 3.3.4, impressions will only be counted towards a post if the member remains on the page for a sufficient period of time. By implementing a short timer to register impressions, another step is taken to ensure only genuine and real impressions are being registered. '' Has anyone felt the impact of this feature? Does anyone know what's the amount of time set for impression to count? Here you go - BBS token accumulation plan or "The Snail Strategy" chart! The goal of this strategy is to stay consistent making small amounts every day. First pick your target, let's say 5$ cashable a day. This is the amount you can make in couple hours if you use your time right.Second - if you don't have much time spread it out into small timeframes of 20-30 minutes few times a day. Consistency is key to achieving anything in life. Here is a strategy for people who don't have much time, but still want to accumulate BBS tokens, which I called ,,The Snail Strategy"! How much is it really worth?
Just thought of the real world value of BBS token. Let's say you earn 100$ cashable on BBS and decide to cash out, because you really need the money. You are greeted with 30% cash out fee (you end up with 70$), then you decide to go the "cheaper" route and use EOS Wallet. After you swap on Defibox to USDT or EOS you lose another 20% due to low liquidity (you end up with 56$). Let's say you really need the money so you want to transfer that amount to an exchange and cash out. You pay small transfer fee and sell tokens to USD. Pay another fee to withdraw money to your bank. Now this was taxable event and have to pay capital gain tax which is 15-40% depending on the country you live in. You are left with 47$ to 33$. Conclusion - you decide to cash out from BBS, by the time you hold money in your hand it is worth roughly 2x - 3x less... Have I missed anything? Change my mind Hold your tokens! Find out why ⬇

The Price Jump
The post price on BBS is changing so fast that sometimes you think you're buying a post for 1.45$ but end up getting it for 3.18$ Did this happen to you?It happens to me very often then I try to trade posts to accumulate more "play money" and I end up starting all over again. My strategy now is to spot buying after price get's to 1.11$ to prevent the "price jump". What's the maximum amount you spend on a post when trading? ↓↓↓ Do you know how to swim? ↓↓↓

The Deadline
Have you ever thought of what is going to happen when BBS releases last tokens into circulation in August of 2025? Everyone can enjoy earning BBS tokens now through creating posts or staking. In theory after last release you won't be able to earn anything, because there will no more tokens left. This makes me question longevity of the project.What are your thoughts on this? The Pool Is Just Starting To Fill Up
BBS token unlock schedule is something every BBS user should be tracking and paying attention to! Current circulating supply is 123M which is 12% of total token supply. What does this mean? As you can see from the chart bellow we are at the very beginning of scheduled token unlock (somewhere between month 4 and 7) This shows that every month for the next few years more and more tokes will be released into circulation. If you cash out and convert $ into BBS tokens every day be ready to see you balance go down month after month. Better approach in my opinion is to track major token unlocks and cash out every 2 or 3 months. This slow DCA approach will buy you much more tokens and prepare you for the next bull market whenever it comes! ↓ Let's bring back 5 likes bonus ↓

P2P Community Funds Swap Function
I want to expand on yesterday's post about P2P Community Funds Swap Function How cool would it be if users could swap community tokens within the BBS platform?Let's say you just cashed out and you're low on "play money" on BBS board and you can't buy posts, but you have bunch of Banter $. You could offer to swap community funds to other users and be back on track buying posts.BBS could make this swap function to avoid scams and users you swap funds safely. What do you guys think? Post Tipping
Since the update when BBS introduced post tipping I don't see posts being tipped a lot, why is that? I think it's because many users find it hard to earn "play money" and since most don't have enough they hesitate to tip others.What's the solution? There should be more ways to earn "play money" like bringing back "5 Likes bonus" for posts and comments! It was a nice feature back in a day which many would love seeing back! More on that here ↓
