Do The Mods Accept A Bribe?

So I have been waiting some time now to get whitelisted. I was wondering if the mods would consider taking a bribe! 😆 I was thinking about 5 BBS, how does that sound? I would love to hear from you!  KrisMar 28, 2022

The 1 cent glitch

I have seen this glitch before in de Community Currency. Probably a lot of you have noticed this already but in case you haven't: there is a glitch where you can buy the post for $4.14 but when you click on it, it displays $4.13. I don't know if I just got a 1 cent discount :) but it's a bit strange. Mar 25, 2022

Plus sign inside board

The plus sign directs you to a page where you can create a board. This is nice but it also displayed when you are already using a board like METABBS. Here it seems more logical when the plus sign redirects you to the 'create a post page'. So I think the plus button would be better if it was only placed on the homepage of BBS. Mar 25, 2022

Different Types of Posters

I noticed that there are a lot of different types of posters on BBS. I think you can divide them in different categories:  1. The spam poster  This type of poster doesn't care about the quality of a post and creates a title and one sentence every 20 minutes.  2. Elite spam poster  The name may look like the previous one but it is a whole different kind. This one succeeds in producing quality content every 20 minutes.  3. Average BBS'er The average BBS poster shares something they like, find interesting or ask a question at whatever time they like.  4. BBS Elite  The BBS elite is very informed on how the platform works and puts loads of time and effort in producing that one pice of perfection every once in a while! Let me know if I missed any!Mar 23, 2022

CPM Boost Has Been Removed Again For These Boards

The CPM was previously boosted with $150. Now the boost has been removed.  The boost previously was removed for the CHARTS and the LUNATKS board and now for the CGAMING board too. As far as I can see the boost for the rest of the community's like BBS and BANTER is still there.  Last time this happend the boost came back after a while so I hope that will happen again. I think the chances of that happening are pretty big.  Let me know what you think about this. KrisMar 23, 2022

Suggestion: ability to integrate polls into normal posts

I see more and more people use the poll function because it adds something to BBS. The polls don't get too much attention so they make a post about the poll itself or the results.  I think it would be really nice if the polls could be integrated in normal posts, so people can interact with them and the results could easily be shared. Mar 23, 2022

@BBS tag

I woke up this morning and after some breakfast I noticed I now have the @bbs tag behind my username name too. I really like it and appreciate the team for making these consistent improvements!Mar 23, 2022

Almost There!

I'm very close to reaching the $20 so I can request to be whitelisted! I can't wait to cash out and seeing the BBS in my account.Mar 21, 2022

BBS Transparency

On BBS when you buy a post you can exactly see how much goes to the previous owner, the board and the publisher. You can see where the fees you pay go to. I really like how BBS tries to be as transparent as possible. Mar 21, 2022

Guidelines in About Section

It think it is a very good choice of the BBS team to put the community guidelines directly in the 'about' section, instead of in a post. I usually read the text but I only click on the posts when I'm looking for something specific.Mar 21, 2022

Create a Post Bar

1. When you click your profile picture nothing happens.  2. When you click Create a Post you're obviously redirected towards the create a post page.  3. When  you click the picture logo you are also redirected towards the create a post page.  4. When you click the link logo you are also redirected towards the create a post page.  I think that it's a bit strange that when you click for instance the picture logo nothing different happens but I guess they added the small logo’s just for esthetics. Mar 21, 2022

CPM Boost Has Come To An End For These Boards

The CPM was previously boosted with $150. From now on the boost has been removed.  The boost has been removed for the CHARTS and the LUNATKS board. As far as I can see the boost for the rest of the community's like BBS and BANTER is still there.  I don't know what caused it that they removed the CPM boost for those channels but I hope everyone, who wanted it, reached their $20 cashout limit there.  Let me know what you think about this change. BBS Theory - mobile vs computer

So my theory is that mobile users interact more with posts than BBS users who are on their pc.  Let me explain:  *** When using the BBS website on your phone it is faster and easier to click on a post.  *** The portability of a phone is also a lot higher. Where ever you are, you can quickly open BBS and like and comment on a few posts. *** Personal preference seems to be what will dictate if a desktop or mobile browser will be used. One of the greatest differences determining factors for most users is screen size. -- But in the end no matter what you're personal preferences are, I think it's a great choice to release a mobile app so BBS attracts more users.  Kris Mar 20, 2022

🪙BBS is a stable coin🪙

The last month has been a volatile month for crypto. A lot of coins dropped 20% and others like APE went up with 1500%. BBS token on the other hand really didn't care about the volatility. The price has been almost stable for an entire month so far!  So that's why I think when we compare it to stablecoins it is fair to say that we can now officiale declare BBS token as a stablecoin! I think the fact that BBS stayed strong during market corrections is an enormous bullish indicator. Let me know what you think! KrisMar 19, 2022

8 New Social Media Platforms Marketers Should Watch in 2022

When you visit the App Store or Google Play and search "social media," there are hundreds of apps to choose from. But, as the pool of social platforms grows, will any of them really change the game for marketers this year? The truth is, probably so. The year 2020 changed the way we did just about everything — including socializing. Social distancing became a familiar part of our lives leaving a void for personalized communication we used to have in-person. 2. Twitch 3. Discord 4. TikTok 5. Clubhouse 6. Twitter Spaces 7. Caffeine 8. Instagram Reels You are wondering where is number one  Well it's here because in first place is... BBS!!! Decentralised socials will be a hype and when it comes BBS will absolutely explode!Mar 19, 2022

8 CENTS!

Now I need to earn another adserver payment for only 8 tiny cents! Only a quote can save my day. Nice quote for this situation:  "When life slaps you in the face, slap it back harder" - Maximillius II (my cat)Mar 19, 2022

WELCOME TO THE TAVERN!

I see you all posting achievements, new ideas or you're helping each other. That is great but we must not forget that it is important to take a break from time to time.  Research has found that taking a break can be very beneficial for you and your work. Micro-breaks, lunchtime breaks and longer breaks, have all been shown to have a positive relationship with wellbeing and productivity. By taking regular breaks you can boost your performance. So grab a beer and come chill for a bit. Spending too much time scrolling can increase feelings of stress, anxiety, and depression. To take a break from social media, you should turn off notifications and set time limits. Taking a break that lasts for hours, days, or weeks can all be beneficial to your health and happiness.   If you feel you've rested enough now, I only have one thing to say: get back out there, be creative and help each other on BBS. The place where we have all secretly become a bit addicted to. KrisMar 17, 2022
