BBS Growth Seeding Launch - Wave One

We're very happy to announce the launch of BBS Growth Seeding!

Growth Seeding is a manually run program to promote the growth of smaller BBSes not yet approved for Engagement Mining program.

To facilitate the Growth Seeding program, manual ad campaigns will be ran on smaller BBSes from the METABBS account - with the criteria being metric based with data from the Rewards page. 

The first wave will promote from within the Top 60 BBSes on the Rewards page based on metrics for impressions, comments, and posts.

Qualifying boards: Boards that qualify as potential growth seeding candidates for Wave One needed 10 or more average unique users each day, and the board must not be currently approved for engagement mining.

Each BBS’s average stats for impressions, comments, and posts were compared against the other qualifying boards. Boards found to have impressions, comments, and posts above the median line were used for the first wave’s candidates.

Five boards were selected, based on metrics, for Wave One of Growth Seeding.

The metrics used to select the boards are explained as follows:
All qualifying boards were given a median line for daily avg of impressions, posts, and comments for their stats within 03/20 - 03/27.
Boards that were at or above the median line in all 3 fields (impressions, posts, & comments) were advanced to the next selection stage.
From this group, the top 5 boards in Avg Impressions were selected for Wave One.

By using the median levels of posts, comments, and impressions, we ensure that boards that are selected have a healthy, well-rounded engagement level.

$1000 Campaigns will be run at $150 CPM on the selected boards. $5000 total BBS Tokens being distributed the first wave.

Ad campaigns will start on these boards as soon as possible. Please note that it is a one time purchase of CC on the board and creation of an ad campaign with it, therefore the ad campaign will stop automatically when the $1000 budget is exhausted.

If your BBS was selected for a Growth Seeding wave, the BBS can be selected again for Growth Seeding so long as the selections are not in back to back waves. (i.e. if a BBS is selected for Wave 1, it could not qualify for Wave 2, but could qualify for Wave 3.) and the previous wave's ad campaign on the board has finished.

These boards have already done a great job so far at building their BBS community, and we're happy to launch this program to help build their growth! We look forward to running more of these waves at regular intervals to help cultivate smaller BBS growth as much as possible.
