The Milwaukee Bucks have won three games in a row for the first time this season after taking down the Indiana Pacers 105-99 and things may be looking up for the struggling Milwaukee franchise.
All the struggles that have plagued the Bucks this season, like a lack of effort on defense and poor connectivity on offense, seems to have slipped away during their recent hot streak.
That offensive connectivity is something that's been on full display with the chemistry between Ryan Rollins and and Kevin Porter Jr.

Benny Sieu-Imagn ImagesThe two young Bucks are primed to be big pieces of Milwaukee's future, and the chemistry between them will be crucial for the Bucks' continued success.
There hasn't always been an opportunity for them to build that chemistry considering that Porter Jr. missed close to a month with an oblique injury, but now that he's been back in action the pair have bene clicking on offense.
The biggest of the combination of Rollins and Porter Jr. has ironically been their similarity. The fact that they can both slot into essentially the same place on the court or in particular plays means that they can switch roles seamlessly and keep defenses on their toes.
"They're doing a great job," Milwaukee head coach Doc Rivers said (via Bucks). Ryan had one play on the said that either one can run. They take turns; it's the same play, but it's a different look because it's two different players. They're really starting to feel how to play with each other. It's been really nice."

With Giannis Antetokounmpo sidelined with a calf injury, that level of production from Rollins and Porter Jr. will be huge for the Bucks going forward. Since they decided to retain Antetokounmpo, it's going to be more important than ever for the Bucks to buckle down and start building toward some longterm success.

Jeff Hanisch-Imagn ImagesPlayoffs may not be in the cards for the Bucks this season, but they can still use the rest of the season to build a strong foundation for their future as a franchise. They may have had a rough go off things this season, but the foundation of the franchise are still solid and they aren't far off from being contenders once again.
Especially in a relatively open Eastern Conference, all it would take is players like Rollins and Porter Jr. to get on the same page like they have been and then stay on it.
