American F1 team Haas is putting on a special livery for the 2026 United States Grand Prix.
The VF-26s, Haas' current challenger, will wear a light-blue, Godzilla-themed livery at the 2026 Formula 1 United States Grand Prix.
Haas' Austin livery devitates from their usual white-black-red color combination. Instead, the VF-26 introduced light-blue accents, bold graphics, and the iconic Godzilla on the car's bodywork, engine cover, and sidepod area.
This is the second time that Haas will use a Godzilla-themed livery this season. As part of their 2026 deal to promote the upcoming "Godzilla Minus Zero" film with Japanese entertainment company TOHO, Haas also incorporated Godzilla's imagery in their livery at the Japanese Grand Prix in Suzuka.
Haas' recent special liveries at the US Grand Prix
Oh, and don't forget that this is Haas' home Grand Prix. The American outfit has a history of launching special liveries in front of their home fans.
- 2025: Haas delivered an American-flag-inspired design for the cars of Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman. Stars and stripes appeared across Haas' front wing, nose, sidepods, engine cover, and rear wing endplates. Bearman delivered a strong P9 finish for the team.
- 2024: Haas also put on a blue accent in their 2024 US GP livery, but it was a bolder and more vibrant blue hue. It was another strong home race for Haas, with Nico Hulkenberg finishing in P8 and Kevin Magnussen just missing the points in P11.
- 2023: Haas used their signature Stars and Stripes design built around the phrase "We The People", which are the opening words of the US Constitution. The livery also featured MoneyGram branding and a Starlight Children's Foundation emblem. However, Haas failed to deliver points in the 2023 US GP.
Along with the special liveries, Haas has done relatively well in their home race at Austin. They have finished within the Top 10 in three of the last four US Grands Prix. Their last point-getter here was Bearman in 2025, who was still a rookie driver last year.
Is Haas bringing upgrades to Austin?
As of today, Haas has not confirmed a new performance upgrade package for the 2026 US Grand Prix. However, it's expected that Ocon will get the upgrade that Bearman had in the Singapore Grand Prix. Apparently, the team only had one set of that upgrade available, which they decided to give to Bearman.
Still, expect Haas to deliver a new upgrade package this weekend. In 2025, they also brought a new floor upgrade to Austin, in a bid to improve the car's balance and grip.
After all, this is their home race. Haas would want to do better here.
