Losing sponsors is never a good sign. As Ferrari faces one of its most delicate moments in years, Aston Martin’s latest announcement adds more pressure to an already fragile project.

Aston Martin and Fernando Alonso have dealt Ferrari another blow amid the crisis facing the Scuderia. It's no secret that the Maranello team's results made them the biggest disappointment on the entire F1 grid in the 2025 season.

In an official statement shared on social media, the two-time world champion's team announced that it has signed one of the sponsors that used to be associated with the Maranello team.

This is what was reported: "Premium functional energy drink brand CELSIUS has signed an exclusive multi-year global partnership with Aston Martin Aramco, naming it Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team Partner and the team's Official Global Energy Drink Partner.

"This announced partnership represents an exciting new chapter for CELSIUS, driving momentum and redefining the brand's presence in Formula One. By aligning CELSIUS with one of the most dynamic and ambitious teams in the sport, the collaboration with Aston Martin Aramco further illustrates the brand's commitment to driving growth, engaging fans, and setting the standard for excellence globally.

"CELSIUS is partnering at a time of tremendous global growth for the brand, leveraging the worldwide momentum of Formula One and connecting with a new generation of fans, inspiring people to LIVE FIT," they said.

Remember that the rivalry between Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton is one of the most legendary in recent decades of the sport, which is why fans often compare them both on and off the track. These kinds of deals are key in Formula 1, with brands paying hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars for a mention of the driver or a logo on their car.

How long is Fernando Alonso's contract with Aston Martin?

Fernando's multi-year contract runs until at least the 2026 season, when Aston Martin will begin work on its power unit with Honda. This will be an opportunity for the Asturian to assess whether he wants to continue in the category, depending on Aston Martin's performance.

Through the team's official channels, Aston has confirmed the Spanish driver's extended stay with the Lawrence Stroll-owned team.

In a statement, the Silverstone-based team announced that Fernando would not be leaving the organization and that he is set to stay with the team, demonstrating his faith in the British team's project.

This means that Fernando will be linked to Aston Martin for several more years, and not just for F1, as the Spaniard will seek to lead the team to success in other categories and races such as LeMans. In addition, it is not ruled out that he will take on a role as a manager or advisor.
