The Faenza team has Lawson and Lindblad scoring points regularly, while Tsolov shines in F2 with three consecutive wins. The Racing Bulls boss praised his current duo and highlighted Lindblad's maturity at 18 years old.

Racing Bulls faces a "very nice problem" in the Formula 1 driver market. The Faenza team has Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad scoring points regularly in the midfield, while Nikola Tsolov, a Red Bull academy driver, is shining in Formula 2 and knocking on the door to make the jump to the top category. Alan Permane, Racing Bulls boss, highlighted in an interview with Mundo Deportivo the performance of his two drivers and the Bulgarian.

"It's a very nice problem to have, Tsolov has already won in Melbourne and Monaco. He will be knocking on the door very soon. He's doing an impressive job and we're following him very closely" declared Permane. The Bulgarian has scored three consecutive wins in F2, including the two races of the weekend at the British Grand Prix, and has become one of the great promises of motorsport.

Liam Lawson, who was demoted from Red Bull to Racing Bulls in 2025, has recovered his best form and is tenth in the drivers' championship with 39 points: "Liam has been incredible this year, he had a very complicated start to last season, but this year he has done exactly everything we've asked of him, he's totally focused, he's still very fast, he takes advantage of opportunities and doesn't make mistakes" praised Permane.

Arvid Lindblad, the 18 year old debutant, is also having a great first campaign in F1 and has scored points in several races. "He has talent and a huge work ethic. He has the ability to isolate himself from all the noise of the paddock and focus solely on improving as a driver and as a person. If you talk to him, you would never say he's only 18, he's very mature" said Permane about the Briton.

Lindblad has shown a speed and learning ability that have surprised the team. "The first thing is speed. Without speed, it doesn't matter. Arvid has it. Besides being fast, he's very curious. He's always asking how he can help the whole package go faster. He analyzes himself a lot and always asks what he can do better" highlighted Permane.

The Racing Bulls boss also highlighted the environment surrounding Lindblad, with a physiotherapist, a representative and his parents forming a very close knit group: "That's very important for a driver, not only for the physical aspect, but also for the mental one. When things get tough, you need someone to talk to" concluded Permane.

The Faenza team has three drivers for two seats, a problem that many teams would envy.
