The Cadillac Championship returns PGA TOUR golf to Trump National Doral, where Scottie Scheffler leads a loaded field on the Blue Monster.
The PGA TOUR is bringing big-event golf back to Trump National Doral, and the Cadillac Championship arrives with instant juice.
This week’s new 2026 Signature Event returns the TOUR to one of its most recognizable stages, the Blue Monster, a water-heavy Doral test that has hosted professional golf for more than five decades.

The event doesn’t inherit the old Doral record book, but it does revive a familiar tournament feel in Miami with Cadillac back in a starring role.
Doral’s closing stretch should be a major storyline. The 473-yard par-4 18th has long been one of golf’s more intimidating finishers, especially when the wind kicks up.
The rebuilt par-3 15th and reachable par-4 16th also bring water, risk and Sunday volatility into play.
History gives this week extra weight. Doral first joined the PGA TOUR schedule in 1962, with Billy Casper winning the debut event.
Since then, champions at the property have included Jack Nicklaus, Lee Trevino, Nick Faldo, Ben Crenshaw and Tiger Woods.
Woods practically owned the place during his prime. He won three straight Doral starts from 2005 through 2007, added another victory in 2013 and finished in the top 10 nine times in 11 career appearances.
The current Blue Monster is a different animal after Gil Hanse’s renovation, which reshaped greens, bunkers and water hazards after the Trump Organization bought the resort in 2012.
That means players won’t just be battling history. They’ll be solving a modernized course built to punish sloppy ball-striking.
The field makes the Cadillac Championship even more compelling. Scottie Scheffler headlines a group featuring 17 of the world’s top 25 players, giving the TOUR another premium stop in Florida beyond the traditional swing.
For fans, it’s simple: Doral is back, the stakes are real, and the Blue Monster is ready to bite again.
