Jeeno Thitikul won the Mizuho Americas Open by four shots, using late birdies to hold off Ruoning Yin for her second LPGA title of 2026.
Jeeno Thitikul added another statement win to her 2026 LPGA season Sunday, closing with a 3-under 69 to capture the Mizuho Americas Open by four shots over Ruoning Yin at Mountain Ridge.
Thitikul began the final round with a two-shot lead, but Yin made things interesting early.

The Chinese star charged with four straight birdies on the front nine and pulled within one shot, putting real pressure on Thitikul heading into the closing stretch.
The championship turned on the par-3 16th. Yin made bogey, while Thitikul delivered her first birdie of the back nine, creating a two-shot swing that pushed the lead to three. Thitikul then added one more birdie at the 18th to finish off her second LPGA Tour win of the year.
“It means a lot to me,” Thitikul said after the victory.
The win gives Thitikul nine career LPGA titles and marks her fourth season with multiple victories since joining the tour in 2022. She also won the Honda LPGA Thailand earlier this season.
Thitikul admitted her game hadn’t felt sharp since returning from the LPGA’s Asian swing in March, but a conversation with her coach helped her simplify things.
“Sometimes you don’t try to fix things to be perfect,” she said.
Yin shot a 69 and finished alone in second, despite hitting all 18 greens in regulation and missing only one fairway.
Still, two back-nine bogeys stalled her push. It was her fourth runner-up finish in just over a year.
“I just think something cool is going to happen,” Yin said. “I just don’t know when.”
Celine Boutier, who played alongside Thitikul in the final group, faded with a 75 and tied for ninth.
Thitikul is now one of four LPGA players with multiple wins this season, another sign that the top of women’s golf keeps getting deeper.
