Scottie Scheffler enters the 2026 PGA Championship as the betting favorite, with Rory McIlroy, Cameron Young and Jon Rahm chasing.
Scottie Scheffler leads the 2026 PGA Championship odds as the field arrives at Aronimink Golf Club outside Philadelphia for one of golf’s biggest weeks.
The defending PGA champion enters at 9/2, putting him ahead of a loaded 156-player field chasing the Wanamaker Trophy.
Scheffler is trying to join rare company. Only Tiger Woods and Brooks Koepka have successfully defended a PGA Championship in the modern era, and Scheffler arrives with the consistency to make another run.
Even with recent slow starts, he’s stacked three straight runner-up finishes, keeping him firmly at the top of the board.
The biggest threat behind him is Rory McIlroy, listed at 17/2. McIlroy comes in hot after winning his second straight Masters and sixth career major.
Another major victory this week would push him into even more exclusive territory, moving him closer to the top 10 all-time in men’s major championships.
Cameron Young sits third at 12-1, reflecting his recent surge as one of the hottest players in golf.
Still searching for his first major, Young has the form to make noise if his putter travels.
The LIV Golf stars are also worth watching. Jon Rahm is 16-1, while Bryson DeChambeau is 18-1. Both have major wins already, but neither has captured the PGA Championship.
Other contenders include Xander Schauffele at 18-1, Ludvig Åberg at 20-1, and both Matt Fitzpatrick and Tommy Fleetwood at 22-1.
Further down the board, names like Jordan Spieth, Shane Lowry, Hideki Matsuyama and Patrick Reed all sit at 66-1. Recent Truist Championship winner Kristoffer Reitan is listed at 80-1.
And yes, Michael Block is back in the PGA Championship field, joining the 20 club professionals who earned their way to Aronimink.
