Patrick Reed enters the 2026 Masters in top form after two DP World Tour wins, giving the 2018 champion real momentum for another Augusta run.

Patrick Reed is heading into the 2026 Masters looking more dangerous than he has in years, and that should get plenty of attention at Augusta National this week.

The 2018 Masters champion arrives in strong form after a standout start to 2026 on the DP World Tour.

Patrick Reed won the Hero Dubai Desert Classic in January, added another victory at the Qatar Masters in February, and also posted a runner-up finish at the Bahrain Championship.

Those results have pushed Reed to the top of the Race to Dubai standings and put him in a prime position to earn a PGA Tour card for next season.

That surge has brought Reed back into the spotlight just in time for the year’s first major.

Augusta National has always fit Reed’s game.

He isn’t known as the longest hitter in the field, but his short game, creativity and ability to handle difficult situations have consistently made him a factor at the Masters.

Reed has recorded five career top-12 finishes at Augusta, including three straight entering this week. Last year, he finished solo third after a late eagle on the 17th hole helped him climb the leaderboard.

Reed said Augusta allows him to play with more feel and imagination, which has long been one of his greatest strengths.

That matters on a course where shaping shots, managing misses and staying patient can be just as important as power.

His recent play suggests he could once again be a serious contender. Reed has found both confidence and momentum, and his comments this week made it clear he’s embracing the pressure that comes with chasing another green jacket.

At 35, Reed looks refreshed, motivated and fully back in the mix ahead of the 2026 Masters. With one Augusta title already on his resume and his game trending up, he suddenly feels like one of the more intriguing names to watch.
