Scottie Scheffler stays atop golf's Power 18 rankings, but Matt Fitzpatrick, Chris Gotterup and several recent winners are shaking up the leaderboard.
The PGA Tour offseason isn't giving golf's biggest names much time to relax.
With victories piling up around the world and the Presidents Cup delivering plenty of drama, the latest Power 18 golf rankings feature some significant movement.
One thing hasn't changed, though: Scottie Scheffler remains the man everyone is chasing.
Scheffler retains the No. 1 position despite a Presidents Cup performance that wasn't quite up to his usual standards. The world's top-ranked golfer finished 3-1-0 at Medinah Country Club, contributing three points to an American comeback victory over the International team.
That's hardly a disappointment for most players. But when you're Scheffler, expectations are different.
Rory McIlroy holds steady at No. 2 after another frustrating near-miss at the BMW PGA Championship. McIlroy finished tied for second at Wentworth, continuing a strong stretch that includes three top-five finishes in his last five starts.
Matt Fitzpatrick, meanwhile, is making a serious push toward the top.
The Englishman climbs from sixth to third following his victory at the French Open, his fourth worldwide title of 2026. Fitzpatrick has been among golf's hottest players, proving that the conclusion of the PGA Tour season hasn't slowed him down.
Chris Gotterup moves into fourth after collecting three points in his Presidents Cup debut. Wyndham Clark rounds out the top five, while Cameron Young makes one of the biggest jumps, climbing four positions to sixth.
Young also delivered three points at Medinah, demonstrating why he's particularly dangerous when his putter cooperates.
But some of the most interesting movement comes further down the rankings.
Tom Kim enters at No. 16 following a spectacular Presidents Cup performance and an Asian Games gold medal. Kim went 4-1-0 at Medinah, leading every player in points.
Shane Lowry returns at No. 17 after dominating the Irish Open, finishing 23 under par and winning by an astonishing 11 strokes.
J.J. Spaun checks in at No. 18 after capturing the BMW PGA Championship. The American, disappointed after missing out on a Presidents Cup selection, delivered a statement victory at Wentworth.
"I've kind of blossomed into this player that I never thought I could be," Spaun said following the win.
Jacob Bridgeman also breaks into the rankings at No. 15 after closing with a remarkable 10-under 61 to win the Biltmore Championship Asheville.
Perhaps the biggest surprise? Jon Rahm has disappeared from the Power 18 altogether.
The two-time major champion's struggles at the BMW PGA Championship contributed to his removal, demonstrating just how quickly fortunes can change in professional golf.
Scheffler still owns the throne. But with Fitzpatrick surging, McIlroy lurking and several newcomers demanding attention, golf's unofficial offseason is producing anything but predictable results.
