Steve Fisk outlasted Taylor Pendrith in a three-hole playoff at the 2026 ISCO Championship as rookie Jackson Koivun threatened to steal the trophy in Louisville
Steven Fisk didn’t need a playoff birdie to win the 2026 ISCO Championship. He just needed to keep surviving until Taylor Pendrith finally blinked.
Fisk defeated Pendrith on the third extra hole Sunday at Hurstbourne Country Club, capturing his second PGA Tour victory after both players finished regulation at 16-under par.

In other words, it was survival golf.
Pendrith appeared to have the early advantage when he knocked his approach inside 10 feet on the first playoff trip down the par-4 18th.
He couldn’t convert the birdie opportunity, however, while Fisk escaped a greenside bunker and saved par.
Both players missed the green with their approaches on the second extra hole, but neither cracked.
Fisk scrambled from 93 feet away and Pendrith answered from 92 feet, sending the championship back to the 18th tee for a third time.
That’s when the pressure finally collected its payment.
Fisk recorded his third consecutive playoff par. Pendrith couldn’t match him, making bogey and handing Fisk the biggest victory of his young PGA Tour career.
The 28-year-old Fisk earned $720,000, a two-year Tour exemption and another trophy to place beside the one he claimed at the 2025 Sanderson Farms Championship.
He opened the tournament with a 63 and followed it with rounds of 66, 68 and 67.
Fisk wasn’t flashy when the title was hanging in the balance. He was simply the last man standing.
Pendrith came painfully close to adding another victory after winning the 2024 CJ Cup Byron Nelson.
He’ll leave Louisville knowing the tournament was within reach multiple times, particularly after his excellent approach on the opening playoff hole.
Ben Silverman and Aaron Wise finished one stroke behind the leaders at 15 under. Lucas Glover, who carried the lead through Friday and Saturday, couldn’t maintain his momentum.
His final-round 71 dropped him into a tie for fifth with Kristoffer Ventura and Davis Chatfield.
Defending champion William Mouw tied for 10th.
The wild card entering Sunday was Jackson Koivun, the heavily hyped rookie making only his second PGA Tour start since turning professional.
Koivun entered the week as the betting favorite, a designation that looked wildly aggressive until he started charging up the leaderboard.
Koivun moved to 4 under for his round through 14 holes and reached 13 under overall, briefly pulling within one shot of the lead. Suddenly, the idea of a rookie crashing the winner’s circle didn’t sound ridiculous at all.
His run stalled down the stretch. Koivun made pars on Nos. 15 and 16 before bogeying the 17th, ending his championship threat.
Still, he posted four consecutive rounds in the 60s—67, 68, 66 and 67—and showed why expectations surrounding his professional career are already soaring.
Koivun nearly stole the headlines. Fisk took the trophy instead.
