Athletics Pick Up A.J. Causey from Royals

Last week, the Athletics swung a deal with the Kansas City Royals where both teams exchanged pitchers.

The Athletics picked up A.J. Causey, a minor-league right-hander, from the Royals for right-hander Mitch Spence.

After the deal, the Royals designated Spence for assignment.
