Milwaukee Brewers pitcher DL Hall looks like he'll get the ball on Thursday night as the Brewers go up against the Cleveland Guardians in a Cactus League matchup. Slade Cecconi is due to start for the Guardians as first pitch is scheduled for 9:05 p.m. ET.
With Opening Day just 13 days away, Milwaukee will be wrapping up its Cactus League schedule pretty soon. Who, though, is left on the Brewers' schedule in the coming days? Let's take a look.
On Friday, the Brewers will host the Athletics with first pitch scheduled for 4:10 p.m. ET. Then, on Saturday, Milwaukee hosts the Colorado Rockies. Sunday's Cactus League action sees the Brewers go over and meet up with the San Francisco Giants.
Next Monday, Milwaukee goes over to Camelback Ranch in Glendale, Arizona, for a showdown with the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Brewers then get a day off from Cactus League play before split squads are sent away on Tuesday. One squad will meet up with the Los Angeles Angels, while another squad faces the Seattle Mariners.
Entering Thursday night's game with the Guardians, Milwaukee is currently 8-9 in Cactus League action. The Brewers might be aiming to finish up Spring Training games with a .500 record or better. Still, though, it's worth remembering that Spring Training is a time to get in shape and prepared for the long 162-game grind which awaits.
Back to Hall for a minute. He currently has a 3.00 ERA in Spring Training games with an 0-0 record. Hall has recorded two strikeouts, given up two walks, and has a 1.67 WHIP. He's currently on the Brewers' 40-man roster.
Hall was a first-round selection of the Baltimore Orioles in the 2017 MLB Amateur Draft. He appeared in 20 games in the 2025 MLB season for the Brewers, starting three of those. In 38 2/3 innings, Hall had a 3.49 ERA with 27 strikeouts and a 1.07 WHIP.
He played his first two MLB seasons with the Orioles before joining the Brewers in the 2024 MLB season. Hall, according to his MLB.com profile, has a career 6-3 record with a 4.32 ERA in 62 MLB games. Hall, a 27-year-old left-hander, could provide some depth and length for Brewers manager Pat Murphy this season.
Let's see what Hall can do on Thursday night against the Guardians.
It's about time for Brewers fans to make the trek to American Family Field in Milwaukee as the 2026 MLB regular season is just around the corner.
