The 24-year-old Milwaukee Brewers ace joins Sandy Koufax in an exclusive statistical club.

Since 1950, there have only been four pitchers to lead the league in ERA, strikeouts, and opponents' batting average.

Here in 2026, Milwaukee Brewers' ace Jacob Misiorowski officially joined that list.

Misiorowski now finds himself in the same conversation as Sandy Koufax (1965), J.R. Richard (1979), and Mike Scott (1986), according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

The Brewers' regular season ended the exact same way it started, and that was with Misiorowski picking up a win.

His 16th win of the year was a nearly flawless 5.1-inning performance, one that proved this 24-year-old has what it takes to help the Brewers make a deep run in the postseason.

Misiorowski caps off historic 2026 season

Going back 76 years, Miz joins an exclusive club that features a few all-time greats. To think this accomplishment hasn't been done since 1986 is even more incredible, especially knowing how many stellar pitchers have won the Cy Young and taken the world by storm since then.

Misiorowski made 30 starts this season as he posted league-best numbers in strikeouts (252), ERA (1.80), and opponents' batting average (.157).

Those obviously aren't the only statistics that he led the league in, but those are the three that helped him make history dating back to 1950.

Misiorowski's speed is unheard of

For a starting pitcher to be able to throw 100+ miles per hour consistently is something that isn't seen too often in the modern era.

Sure, having a closer come in and throw that is one thing, but to see Misiorowski do it as consistently as he did was another.

Officially, his 1,115 pitches at 100+ mph this season were the most since tracking started in 2008. Previously, the record was set by Jordan Hicks in 2018, but he only threw 673 that year.

To say "only" in that sentence proves just how out-of-this-world Misiorowski's stuff truly is.

His regular season came to an end with 174.2 innings thrown, so that comes out to roughly 6.4 pitches of 100+ mph thrown per inning.

Brewers are hungry for a World Series

Keep in mind, Misiorowski appeared out of the bullpen in three postseason games a year ago. He was 2-1 and sported a 1.50 ERA and 0.83 WHIP in his 12 innings pitched.

Misiorowski had a 5.3 K/BB ratio in a limited sample size last year, so it's incredible to think that number was 5.7 here in the regular season.

If there's anyone who can help guide the Brewers to a World Series, it's Misiorowski, and now he gets some much-needed rest as this team went 103-59 and is able to skip the Wild Card round for the second straight season.
