Fresh off a career-high four-RBI performance, the surging rookie infielder ignites the Milwaukee Brewers offense with elite hitting and sensational speed.

The Milwaukee Brewers have done it again.

A few years after signing Jackson Chourio to a lengthy extension that was well ahead of its time, they seem to have struck lightning in a bottle once again.

Not only is Cooper Pratt signed to a long-term deal, but Luis Lara is as well. Together, these three have contributed time and time again this season, but now, it's Pratt who's getting all of the attention, and rightfully so.

Pratt, 22, is riding a six-game RBI streak heading into game two against the Cincinnati Reds on Saturday, Sept. 5.

Pratt's contributions in game one can't be understated as he had a four RBI night that was highlighted by a base clearing triple.

To say Pratt is hot right now would be an understatement, and he's heating up at the perfect time.

Pratt has found his footing in the majors

Going back to Pratt's big league debut on Tuesday, June 16, it would've been easy to jump the gun on him as he committed a defensive error and went 0-for-3. Thankfully, he would go 2-for-4 the next night in a game that saw him record his first career RBI.

The Florida native had a stint on the Injured List in August, but since he's returned, he's been on fire.

Pratt is hitting .375 in his last seven games with a .414 on-base percentage. He has 10 RBIs in a stretch that features one of his three big league homers.

Not only is Pratt doing everything he can to help this team at the plate, but he also has three stolen bases in his last seven games.

More specifically, Pratt has a .385/.419/.577 slash line in his last eight games with a .996 OPS. For those who don't think that is sustainable, his .303 batting average over his last 30 games should put that to rest.

Now, Pratt is coming off a career-high four RBI night against a division rival. He has 10 RBIs during this streak where he's driven in a run in six consecutive games which goes back to Thursday, Aug. 27.

Manager Pat Murphy seems to give Pratt more off days than other infielders, but that's due to the fact that he's still a rookie and is figuring everything out. Moving forward though, all eyes are on Pratt as he's given this offense a ton of life and could be one of their hidden weapons going into the postseason.
