Milwaukee Brewers prospect Brady Ebel has quickly established himself as one of the organization’s most promising young players.

Brady Ebel has rapidly developed into one of the most intriguing young prospects in the Milwaukee Brewers organization.

The 19-year-old shortstop is now ranked among baseball's Top 100 prospects and has continued to build a strong reputation since being selected by Milwaukee in the first round of the 2025 MLB Draft.

Ebel was selected 32nd overall out of Corona High School in California after standing out as one of the country's top prep players. Although his first taste of professional baseball came with some challenges, he has made significant progress during his first full season in the Brewers' organization.

A major part of Ebel's development has been his ability to contribute in multiple areas. He has shown legitimate speed on the bases while also developing into a productive hitter with the potential to provide power as he matures.

Ebel has already stolen 38 bases in 42 attempts this season, demonstrating the type of athleticism that can make him a consistent threat once he reaches the higher levels of the organization.

His offensive approach has also helped separate him from many young prospects. Ebel has shown patience at the plate and a willingness to work deep into at-bats rather than simply looking to swing early.

That approach has resulted in 100 walks this season, giving him one of the highest walk totals among Brewers prospects. He has also maintained a .418 on-base percentage while continuing to develop his overall offensive game.

Ebel's combination of power and speed has been particularly noteworthy for a player his age. He has collected more than 35 extra-base hits while also surpassing 35 stolen bases, putting him in rare company among teenage players in the Minor Leagues.

His physical tools have only added to the excitement surrounding his future. Standing 6-foot-3, Ebel has the frame to potentially develop additional power as he gets older and becomes more accustomed to professional baseball.

The Brewers have continued to see encouraging signs from Ebel since his selection in the 2025 Draft. His development has helped him move quickly through the prospect rankings and establish himself as one of the organization's most promising young players.

Ebel's rise has also become something of a family story within the Brewers' system. His younger brother, Trey Ebel, was selected by Milwaukee in the 2026 Draft and has also earned a spot among the organization's Top 30 prospects.

For Brady, the next step will be continuing to develop his all-around game as he progresses through the Brewers' Minor League system. With his combination of speed, patience, athleticism and developing power, Ebel has already emerged as a prospect worth watching closely.
