Milwaukee gears up for a high-stakes NLCS rematch as Logan Henderson leads rotation against star-studded Los Angeles Dodgers lineup.

While Milwaukee Brewers fans would love to see Jacob Misiorowski get to start against the Los Angeles Dodgers, that doesn't seem to be what manager Pat Murphy has in mind.

Coming off a stellar start that propelled the Brewers to a series victory over the Chicago Cubs, Milwaukee knows they have Thursday off before preparing for a 2025 NLCS rematch.

The probable pitchers for the May 22-24 series have been revealed, according to Brewers MLB.com reporter Adam McCalvy. One name is causing a bit of chaos as Murphy has to make a decision that boils down to using either Robert Gasser or Coleman Crow.

Logan Henderson Gets Game 1 Start

Should Henderson take the mound on Friday, he would be starting his fifth game of the season. Remember, that's the number of games he started in 2025 when he went 3-0 with a 1.78 ERA.

This season has gone according to plan as the 24-year-old is 1-1 with a 3.50 ERA in 18.0 innings pitched. He's struck out 23 batters and walked just three as he's set to go against Justin Wrobleski.

On paper, Wrobleski's numbers are off the charts. The 25-year-old Illinois native is the lone lefty starter Milwaukee will see against Los Angeles, but he sports a 6-1 record with a 2.49 ERA.

Robert Gasser vs. Roki Sasaki in Game 2

Overall, Gasser had a solid 2026 debut on May 17, when he went four innings in Minnesota. The lefty gave up a pair of earned runs, though he gave up three total in the contest. Gasser struck out three of the 20 batters he faced and walked two.

Obviously, all eyes are on Sasaki. The 24-year-old is coming off a stellar seven-inning start where he allowed just one run against the Los Angeles Angels.

Overall, he's allowed seven runs, all of which are earned, in the 18.0 innings he's pitched this month. Keep in mind, Sasaki hasn't had a scoreless start this season and he's given up at least two runs in six of his eight starts.

Brandon Sproat Faces Yoshinobu Yamamoto in Series Finale

Currently, the Brewers have Brandon Sproat listed to start on Sunday, May 24. At this point in the season, there's no reason to let the Dodgers face Misiorowski. Knowing the St. Louis Cardinals are coming up for a three-game series that begins on Memorial Day, that seems to be the clear plan.

Sproat, should he indeed start, would put his 1-2 record and 5.75 ERA to the test against Yamamoto's 3-4, 3.32 ERA start to the 2026 season.
