The Chicago Cubs have some options this offseason after winning their first postseason series since 2017. 

One of the free agents that Cubs may want to look at pursuing is former New York Mets closer Edwin Diaz. Diaz was an All-Star in 2025 and finished with a 1.63 ERA with 28 saves. 

It never hurts to bolster the bullpen. Would the Cubs benefit from going after Diaz?
