Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll continued his strong season at the plate by earning National League Player of the Week honors.
Corbin Carroll added another accomplishment to his impressive 2026 season on Monday, earning National League Player of the Week honors for the third time in his career.
The Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder was recognized after putting together an impressive week at the plate, helping provide a major boost to the team's offense.
The production also comes at a very critical point in the season for the Diamondbacks as they are still in the hunt for a Wild Card spot. They are still technically out of the mix as the standings are currently shaped, but they remain in a competitive spot.
Carroll appeared in six games and recorded at least one hit in each of them. He finished the week with nine hits in 22 at-bats, good for a .409 batting average. His production included three doubles, two triples, and two home runs, while he also stole a base.
It marked Carroll's third Player of the Week award after previously earning the honor in 2023 and 2025. His latest recognition continues what has been another productive season for the 25-year-old outfielder.
One of the biggest highlights of Carroll's week came from his ability to continue producing extra-base hits. His two triples pushed his season total to 15, giving him a sizable lead over the rest of the league.
No other player in the majors has more than seven triples this season, putting Carroll in position to once again finish at the top of the National League in that category. If he maintains that lead, it would mark the fourth consecutive full season in which he has led the league in triples to begin his career.
