All three runs Bratt gave up were earned. He was pulled after 65 pitches, but only 37 of those were for strikes. In the end, he may have allowed just four hits in three innings, but he issued a trio of walks as his season ERA rose to 4.17.
Zack Littell entered the game in the fourth inning but had a disastrous outing. The 30-year-old would allow eight total runs, but only six were earned. Saying "only" is really putting it lightly, as this was easily one of the roughest relief appearance this team has seen all season.
Littell allowed 11 hits in 3.2 innings and gave up a pair of home runs to this explosive Red Sox lineup. Obviously, Boston is in a great position to make the playoffs, but so were the D-backs, or so everyone thought.

There's a very real chance this game could've been an outlier due to the Ketel Marte news that broke just minutes before first pitch. At the end of the day though, everyone needs to be professional and focus on the task at hand.
Geraldo Perdomo gave the team their lone RBI, and he was one of just three players on this team to record a hit.
There were a ton of defensive moves made in this one, but Jose Fernandez stayed in the lineup all night as he was another player with a hit while Tim Tawa led the way with two.
