There must have been something in the San Francisco water because the Los Angeles Dodgers found their offense and brought out the bats. The Dodgers beat around San Francisco Giants pitching en route to a 10-2 victory on Sunday at Oracle Park. With the win, Los Angeles won the weekend series.

Freddie Freeman was one of three Dodgers hitters to have three hits in the day. They all followed Teoscar Hernández, who had four hits in the victory. What were some keys to the victory? Freeman had some thoughts after the game.

"It's quality at-bats, quality outs, moving guys over, getting sac flies, bringing defenses in if you move them over," Freeman said, according to MLB.com. "It creates more traffic, more things that are able to happen on the baseball field. Just think the quality of at-bats have been really good over the last week."

Freddie Freeman had quite a day against the Giants on Sunday.

Besides Freeman, Michael Conforto and Mookie Betts also had three hits. Tyler Glasnow threw 6 2/3 innings of one-run ball. It definitely helped him to see the Dodgers offense come alive.

"It’s definitely a little more breathing room," Glasnow said. "Coming out and having a good chance at a win makes it a little less crazy, I guess."

With the victory, the Dodgers remain in first place in the National League West Division, 2 1/2 games over the San Diego Padres.

But the Dodgers head home to Dodger Stadium and who awaits them? None other than Kyle Schwarber, Bryce Harper, and the Philadelphia Phillies. This might just be a playoff preview that LA fans might want to get out and see.

Giants starter Robbie Ray was out by the fifth inning, unable to shut down the Dodgers. The Giants have been hot lately, so getting two straight losses isn't ideal for San Francisco.

San Francisco is not a concern for Los Angeles right now. The Dodgers must focus on playing the Phillies, who are positioned to get the second seed in the NL postseason picture.

"We want the bye, obviously," Freeman said. "And obviously, we've played ourselves into this position. We've got two weeks left, got a big series against them. So hopefully we can continue to keep playing the baseball we've been playing, and hopefully win the series and keep it going."

Freeman speaks truth for his Dodgers teammates. They have their eyes on a bigger prize than simply a division title. They want to repeat as World Series champions.

It's time to buckle up and get ready because the last days of the 2025 MLB regular season are here.
