Andrew Friedman expects the Los Angeles Dodgers' coaching staff to return for the 2027 season.

The Los Angeles Dodgers are not anticipating major changes to their coaching staff this offseason, with president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman expecting the entire group to return for the 2027 season.

Friedman discussed the organization's plans during his end-of-season press conference, indicating that the Dodgers expect to maintain their existing coaching structure as they prepare for another championship pursuit.

If the staff returns as anticipated, manager Dave Roberts will enter his 12th season leading Los Angeles with the same coaching group in place.

The Dodgers have built sustained success under Roberts, and retaining the current staff would allow the organization to move into the offseason without an expected overhaul of its coaching personnel.

While Friedman's comments provide an early indication of the club's plans, the expectation of a full return is not necessarily an official confirmation of every coach's status for next season.

Danny Lehmann has drawn managerial interest

One member of the Dodgers' staff who has attracted attention beyond Los Angeles is bench coach Danny Lehmann.

Lehmann has previously been considered a potential managerial candidate, putting him among the coaches who could eventually receive opportunities to lead another organization.

However, he has not been publicly linked to the current managerial openings with the Houston Astros or Seattle Mariners.

His future remains worth monitoring as teams continue evaluating candidates for leadership positions. For the Dodgers, though, the expectation remains that their existing coaching staff will return for 2027.

Maintaining Lehmann and the rest of the group would give Roberts continuity in the dugout as the team begins preparing for the upcoming season.

The Dodgers have relied on an established coaching structure throughout Roberts' tenure, and keeping that group together would allow the organization to concentrate on other offseason priorities rather than making significant changes to its staff.

Dodgers look to maintain stability heading into 2027

Although managerial openings elsewhere could create opportunities for members of the Dodgers' organization, there is currently no public indication that Lehmann is involved in the Houston or Seattle searches.

For now, Friedman's comments suggest that Los Angeles expects to retain its existing coaching group as Roberts prepares for another season.

The Dodgers will have additional offseason decisions to make before the 2027 campaign begins, but the coaching staff does not appear to be an area where the organization anticipates significant change.

If the expectation holds, Roberts and his staff will return together as Los Angeles begins its next attempt to compete for another World Series championship.
