The Los Angeles Dodgers have a date on Monday night in Milwaukee.

The Dodgers will open Game 1 of the best-of-seven National League Championship Series at American Family Field as the Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Chicago Cubs 3-1 to win their National League Division Series.

First pitch on Monday night is at 8:08 p.m. Eastern and the game will be telecast by TBS.

Milwaukee got three home runs from William Contreras, Andrew Vaughn and Brice Turang to help lead the way. It also took five Brewers pitchers to close the door on the Cubs, who now go home for the rest of the season.

With this series victory, the Brewers also snapped a string of postseason series losses dating back to 2019.

This year, the Brew Crew found a way to get it done. It's hard not to believe that Bob Uecker is somewhere smiling right now.

What will the Dodgers do as far as a Game 1 starter? That's not been announced as Dodgers manager Dave Roberts had to wait until Saturday night's result to even consider it. The Brewers don't have a starter named, either. They are too busy celebrating in their clubhouse on Saturday night.

But Sunday looms big as the Brewers have a quick turnaround after ending their NLDS.

On paper, the Dodgers look dominant. They've got the big payroll, the big stars, the big pitchers...and on and on it goes.

Yet the big payroll doesn't always equal postseason success. Heck, the New York Mets and that hefty payroll didn't even sniff postseason play in 2025.

Get dialed in, Dodgers fans. There's more postseason fun just ahead.

We'll have more coverage here of the NLCS at Dodgers Roundtable on Roundtable Sports.
