As for the Brewers, they have not announced a starter for Monday night's Game 1. That decision probably will be revealed on Monday morning. Both Games 1 and 2 are set for 8:08 p.m. Eastern first pitches, too. The NLCS is to be telecast on TBS, truTV, and HBO Max.
Until that time, the Dodgers will have to prepare for any pitcher that Brewers manager Pat Murphy will put on the mound.
Snell and Yamamoto have done pretty well for the Dodgers during their 2025 postseason run to the NLCS. In 18 innings of postseason work, Snell has walked five and struck out 18 while allowing just two runs. Snell's last start was a 4-3 win over the Philadelphia Phillies in the National League Division Series.
In that game, Snell worked six innings of shutout ball while striking out nine. Snell also only allowed one hit. Dodgers fans loved seeing Snell turn in this outing, too. He's had previous postseason experience with the Tampa Bay Rays and San Diego Padres.
Yamamoto's most recent start against the Phillies was a nightmare. In four innings of work, he allowed three earned runs, walked one, and struck out two. That type of performance is a bit rare for Yamamoto, so Dodgers manager Dave Roberts hopes that doesn't happen against the Brewers.
Dodgers Roundtable will cover Game 1 of the NLCS on Monday night. We'll have all the scoring plays from the game in Milwaukee.
