Los Angeles Dodgers outfield prospect Eduardo Quintero is using the Arizona Fall League to build on his regular-season success.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have built an impressive collection of outfield prospects, and Eduardo Quintero is making the most of another opportunity to develop his game in the Arizona Fall League.

Quintero, ranked No. 15 on MLB Pipeline's Top 100 Prospects list, is playing for the Glendale Desert Dogs after another productive minor-league season. The 20-year-old has established himself as one of the organization's most promising young players, combining offensive production with the athleticism to contribute defensively in center field.

His performance throughout the regular season has strengthened his standing among the Dodgers' prospects. Across four years in professional baseball, Quintero has hit .305 with a .432 on-base percentage and a .495 slugging percentage, while recording 40 home runs and 145 stolen bases in 357 games.

The outfielder's production has continued to draw attention as he works toward the major leagues. However, his development is not limited to his statistical results. Quintero is also focused on identifying areas for improvement and applying what he has learned throughout the season.

New learning opportunities for Dodgers' prospect

Quintero described adjusting to the conditions in Arizona as one of the initial challenges of his Fall League experience, particularly the cold weather. Once he became more accustomed to the environment, he felt better equipped to perform on the field.

Playing alongside other talented prospects has also provided an opportunity to learn through communication and shared experiences. Quintero explained that working with his teammates helped them recognize what they needed to improve and make adjustments together.

The experience has given him additional insight into his development, including a clearer understanding of the areas he needs to prioritize during the offseason.

Quintero said the guidance he receives now helps him approach his offseason work with a more defined plan. Rather than simply continuing his regular routine, he can concentrate on the specific improvements identified by the organization.

That approach is particularly important for a young player who has already demonstrated the ability to produce offensively throughout the minor leagues.

Preparing for the demands of October

One of Quintero's primary takeaways from the development process has been the importance of accumulating more playing time and repetitions to prepare his body for the demands of October baseball.

The additional workload represents another step in his preparation as he continues progressing through the Dodgers' farm system. His Fall League experience allows him to keep developing while applying lessons from the regular season in a different competitive environment.

Quintero's combination of hitting ability, power and speed gives him a foundation to build on as he works toward becoming a major-league contributor. His defensive ability in center field also adds value to his overall profile.

Dodgers farm director Matt McGrath has praised Quintero's talent, consistency and work ethic, emphasizing his commitment to improving regardless of his results at the plate.

For Quintero, the Arizona Fall League is about more than extending his season. It is an opportunity to understand his strengths, address weaknesses and enter the offseason with a clearer plan.

With another productive regular season behind him, the young outfielder is focused on turning those lessons into further progress as he continues his climb toward the majors.
