Los Angeles Dodgers prospect Josue De Paula has moved to the top of MLB Pipeline’s updated outfield prospect rankings.

Los Angeles Dodgers prospect Josue De Paula has climbed to the top of MLB Pipeline's updated outfield prospect rankings, continuing his rise through one of the deepest groups of young players in baseball.

According to MLB Pipeline, De Paula entered the season ranked No. 3 among outfield prospects but has now moved into the No. 1 spot. The updated ranking reflects the progress he has made throughout the 2026 season and his growing reputation as one of the most promising young hitters in the minor leagues.

De Paula headlines a group of outfield prospects that has remained remarkably consistent from MLB Pipeline's preseason rankings. Five players who appeared among the top seven entering the season are still in the top seven in the latest rankings.

Detroit Tigers prospect Max Clark, who began the year at No. 1, has moved to No. 3. Minnesota Twins prospect Walker Jenkins and Dodgers prospect Eduardo Quintero have also remained among the leading players at the position, while Tigers prospect Zyhir Hope is another familiar name from the preseason rankings.

The Dodgers' depth at the position stands out in the latest rankings. Los Angeles has three of the top six outfield prospects, giving the organization more representation near the top of the position than any other farm system.

Hope was previously part of that group before the Tigers acquired him from the Dodgers in the trade involving Tarik Skubal earlier this month. Despite losing one of their highly regarded outfield prospects, Los Angeles still has three players near the top of MLB Pipeline's rankings.

The latest list also features several newcomers who have quickly made an impression. Tampa Bay Rays prospect Theo Gillen and another recently rising prospect, the Dodgers' Mike Sirota, are the two highest-ranked newcomers on the updated list.

Both players have emerged as candidates for MLB Pipeline's Minor League Hitting Prospect of the Year award, further highlighting the amount of young offensive talent competing for attention throughout the Minor Leagues.

For the Dodgers, De Paula's move to No. 1 provides another sign of the organization's strength in developing young position players. With multiple outfielders ranked among the best prospects at their position, Los Angeles continues to have plenty of talent in the pipeline.

De Paula's jump from No. 3 to No. 1 is particularly notable, putting him at the forefront of MLB Pipeline's current group of outfield prospects as he continues his development toward the Major Leagues.
