Milwaukee Brewers ace starter Jacob Misiorowski was just too tough on the Los Angeles Dodgers en route to a victory,

Justin Wrobleski wasn't that bad for the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday night, but Jacob Misiorowski of the Milwaukee Brewers was just that much better.

Misiorowski tied up Dodgers' hitters as he gave up just one earned run while striking out six as Milwaukee defeated Los Angeles 4-1 at UNIQLO Field at Dodger Stadium.

Wrobleski worked six innings, giving up four hits, four earned runs, walked one, and struck out six. But he gave up two home runs that proved to be the difference in this ballgame. After Wrobleski left the game, Jonathan Hernandez worked the final three innings and only gave up one hit, walked one, and struck out four.

Misiorowski goes to 12-5 overall

Misiorowski, also known as "Miz," picked up the win and now is 12-5 overall. He also now has a 1.75 ERA as Misiorowski continues to put his name in the conversation for a National League Cy Young Award this season.

Antonio Senzatela came on as a reliever and worked a solid inning. Aaron Ashby worked the final two innings for Milwaukee and picked up his first save this season.

Alex Call went 2-for-4 at the plate for the Dodgers and Shohei Ohtani drove in the team's lone run.

Milwaukee's Joey Ortiz hit a two-run home run, his sixth homer this season, to put the Brewers up 2-0 in the top of the second inning. Ohtani hit his third triple this season and brought Call home to cut into the Milwaukee lead at 2-1.

William Contreras smashed his 12th home run this season, another two-run blast, as Jake Bauers scored ahead of him and that made it 4-1 Brewers.

Dodgers were 1-for-5 in RISP on Saturday night

It's shocking to see that the Brewers pulled off the win as they went 0-for-2 with runners in scoring position and left four total runners on base. Los Angeles, in turn, went 1-for-5 with runners in scoring position and left seven total runners on base.

The Dodgers' and Brewers' offenses totaled five hits apiece, yet Milwaukee's hits provided the team with just enough offense to get a big win. Of course, having Misiorowski out there throwing heat didn't hurt, either.

These two teams will wrap this series up on Sunday afternoon at Dodger Stadium. Milwaukee is now 76-48 overall while Los Angeles drops to 74-50. The Brewers and Dodgers have two of the best records in all of baseball.

Los Angeles won Friday night's opener, and Milwaukee took the Saturday night showdown. Who will win this National League Championship Series rematch? All eyes will be toward the West Coast and Dodger Stadium on Sunday.
