Truck Packed Up as Los Angeles Dodgers Head to Arizona cover image

While some Los Angeles Dodgers players are already at Camelback Ranch, team gets gear ready to go on Sunday.

With it being February 8 and pitchers and catchers reporting very soon, the Los Angeles Dodgers have packed up the big truck.

That's right, Dodgers fans. The ballclub released a video on Sunday morning, letting everyone know in the land of Dodger blue that equipment was on its way to Camelback Ranch in the Valley of the Sun.

Of course, all Dodgers fans know that the franchise is gunning for a third straight World Series championship. That's the goal in mind when Dodgers manager Dave Roberts looks out onto the field and watches his players get in shape.

Spring Training is always a time for players to get reacclimated to playing on the diamond. It should also be noted that some Dodgers players, like Shohei Ohtani and others, have been spending time at Camelback Ranch before the official report date for pitchers and catchers.

It's obvious, from this taking place, that Los Angeles is not going to let a sense of lethargy invade the Dodgers clubhouse.

In the team video posted on X, a man is shown putting the lock down on the equipment truck. Then, the 18-wheeler moves through the well-known Dodger Stadium parking lot and through the Dodger Stadium sign.

What will Dodgers fans see when they visit Camelback Ranch in Glendale, Ariz.? Probably a lot of serious players looking to make their mark in MLB history.

For many years, the Dodgers held their Spring Training work at Dodgertown in Vero Beach, Fla. That's where legendary Dodgers like Davey Lopes, Ron Cey, Maury Wills, Steve Garvey, Sandy Koufax, and many others prepared for the upcoming season.

Now, newer Dodgers fans can go to Arizona and see Ohtani, Freddie Freeman, Mookie Betts, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, and Roki Sasaki work on their games.

According to nearly every single MLB predictive story put out ahead of the 2026 MLB season, Los Angeles is picked to repeat as National League West Division champions. That doesn't necessarily mean it's a lead-pipe lock to happen.

A couple of teams in the division, the San Diego Padres and San Francisco Giants, are going to be gunning for a postseason playoff spot, too. As for the Colorado Rockies? Well, they are going through a perpetual rebuild within the franchise. Maybe next season. Rockies fans.

Now, though, it's time to get serious about the upcoming season. The Dodgers are well aware that every other MLB team sees Los Angeles as a threat...and they should. Los Angeles spent some big-time money on getting outfielder Kyle Tucker and reliever Edwin Díaz onto the ballclub.

If some fans make it out to Arizona in the next few weeks, then check out to see how Tucker and Díaz are looking, too.

Time to pull out those Dodgers hats and coats, fans.

The MLB season is here, at least when Spring Training is concerned.
